Arnav was there, standing infront of Khushi's door. It was early in the morning and he had come without informing Khushi. He just wished to surprise her with his sudden arrival. He rang the bell..

A sleepy Khushi opened the door. She was still sleeping, due to her sleepless nights. Arnav looked at her,her hair a mess, sleepy eyes,in her singlet, she had opened the door. Her eyes were wide open looking at the man infront of her. It was her Arnav..

"Arnav..."Khushi called out and lunged onto him. The man just dropped his bag and picked her up,holding her close. He just wanted to keep Khushi like that, close to him forever..

He felt her sniffing, she was crying in his arms. He was not surprised. He knew Khushi would break down. They had been separated for so long. And now when he finally was here,he could do nothing except let her cry. Cry it out. The pent up emotions of her,she had to let it out. He was there,to hold her, when she breaks. So let her break down this time, only to stand strong again.

Khushi cried, cried and cried. She herself did not know where she had so much tear in her. Arnav seeing her not stoping, walked inside, with her in his arms. He sat down,on her bed,let her cry. She cried. No one said a word. His eyes were red too, from unshed tears.

After an hour, both calmed down. Khushi had fallen asleep, tired in his embrace. So he put her down to sleep and picked up the keys for his room, and left.

After an hour or so,Khushi woke up. At first she was in daze. What happened in between. Was Arnav really there or all of it was just a dream. She was panicking. She felt someone had pulled her into a very long dream, and there was no Arnav in that dream. So Khushi broke down..

Picking up her phone, she saw a message. So opening it,she saw it was from Arnav, which read,he was in the room, resting.

Khushi laughed with a tear stained face. She was crying and laughing at the same time. Sanka Devi..

She had to freshen up. Cook something healthy for her Arnav. So she rushed again. Both had a meal together after a very long time. Khushi was again happy. Arnav was there. What more did she need to be happy..

That evening both stood in the same place. The place where Khushi had opened up. He placed his hand upon her, watching sunset together. He knew he had lot to tell. Yet words could wait. The warmth of Khushi, the lingering touch of Khushi was there. That was enough for him. He looked at her,as she was watching sunset..

Khushi also looked up,to see him watching her. She was again mesmerized by the man before her. He,the Adonis, infront of her,was standing there,as the fading sunlight created a very warm hue. The Sunlight made his eyes more enchanting, more mysterious. She was a moth to the flame called Arnav. And both knew it well ..

Arnav bent down to capture her lips. The rights wrongs, people, thoughts, Everything felt meaningless right at that moment. He knew he had to kiss her,he had to tell her, what she is for him..

As their lips molded perfectly with each other, both relished that feeling. The feeling of finally being together..Both knew from here on,no matter what comes, they would stand together. There would be no separation. Arnav pulled Khushi closer and Khushi also snuggled closer to his chest,to feel his warmth. How much longing one must have to be in the arms of the person one loves..

Arnav Khushi broke apart. There was a content smile on their faces.  Both knew, after this too storms would come. Seasons would change, time would move. But one thing they were sure, come whatever may, they would stand strong. They would face the situation together. Hand in hand they walked downstairs, laughing, talking. Khushi was telling some funny tales she had witnessed and Arnav was laughing at that..

They met, they felt something, they fought, they hurted each other, they avoided the feelings, they almost ended each other, they said things to each other, they got together, again separated by death. Then met again, fell in love, overcame the past, with a promise..

Arnav Khushi, Humesha..
