"All the pictures were continously roaming inside my mind that time." Abhyansh said in a cracked voice as he was settled beside me while his gaze remain down.
"You know that I've never received that kind of love from anyone. And by seeing those images, I-I thought you also b-betrayed me. B-But after two weeks, I found that those images were fake." He explained now looking in my eyes making me silently gasp seeing his eyes bloodshot red with unshed tears in them.
"I tried talking with you, Aadhya. I really tried. But first Kunal didn't let me. And then even I didn't have the courage to talk to you. I was feeling so guilty that I just couldn't even explain it in words. I was mad at myself. I hate myself for that."
Suddenly my eyes widened as he knelt down before me taking my hands in his "Please Aadhya. Forgive me this once. I'll never ever do this kind of mistake. I'm so sorry, love. Please."
My eyes became moist seeing him like this. I've never seen my Abhi like this. Never this vulnerable.
I know how he must be feeling when he saw those images. Because if I ever saw his images like that, I'd be very heartbroken. Nobody could ever say that they were fake. And from his point of view, I can understand that his emotions were out of control that time.
"Shh...it's alright. Come here." I said to him as he slowly got up and sat on the couch hugging me.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He was continously murmuring apologies while hiding his face in my neck.
"It's alright, Abhi." I replied running my fingers in his hair making him sigh.
"Do you forgive me?" He asked pulling out of my neck.
"Yes." I smiled slightly wiping his tears making him smile also.
"Thank you so much, Aadhya. Thank you. I know I don't deserve you forgiveness but thank you so much." He hugged me even more tightly making me smile.
Even though I tried but I can't be able to get mad at him for this long time.
Somewhere I knew that it's not his fault completely. Afterall, what a person would feel after seeing those images when all his life he has experienced only betrayal.
"We should sleep now. It's already late." My voice caught his attention as he nodded.
"Show me the guestroom. I'll sleep there." I said making his neck quickly turn to me.
God! I hope his neck is fine.
"Why? We can sleep together." He said in annoyance making me press my lips in a thin line in order to hide my smile.
"Abhi, we're not in a relationship and-" I started to say but was cut off when he stood up from the couch facing me
"We. Are. In. A. Relationship."
"No,we broke up. And now we're not girlfriend and boyfriend." I also stood up clearly enjoying his annoyance.
"No! We never broke up. You never said that you're breaking up with me." He narrowed his eyes pulling me closer.
And that's when I remember that he's indeed correct. I never said that I'm breaking up with him but we fought and get seperated.
"This means that you never dated in these past 2 years." I asked looking up in his black orbs.
"I never once lifted my eyes to look at any woman. Because I'm already committed to this beautiful girl who's in my arms right now." His deep voice whispered in my ear making my legs week.
The effect this man has in me is just out of the world.
"I hope you remember my promise sweetheart." He tucked a piece of my hair strands behind me ear before kissing my forhead.
"You were my first and you'll be my last."
I smiled remembring his promise very well. We made promise to each other when we surrendered completely to each other. When we became one that night.
We promised that if we're the first of each other then we'll also be the lasts.
"But I guess, someone didn't remember their promise. Because someone was clearly enjoying their so called date with that bastard." A scowl present on his face as he mentioned the date with Viraj.
"I'm sorry, Abhi. Please." I made my famous puppy eyes making him groan.
"You always get away with that face." I laughed at him making him smile. Suddenly a gasp left from me as he lifted me up in bridal style carrying me to the same room in which I was when I woke up.
"Welcome to our room, my queen." He said dramatically as he gently settled me on the bed.
He threw his t shirt off somewhere before climbing on the bed beside me while I just sat there with my gaze still on his amazing body.
"Enjoying the view?" He smirked making my cheeks red.
"I'm all yours, little one. Stare as much as you want." He took my hand kissing my knuckles making me smile.
I also laid beside him while he just wrapped his bulky and muscular arms around me caging me between them.
"After so many days, I'm gonna have my peaceful sleep." He muttered burrying his face in my hair.
Suddenly a question arise in my mind as I asked him while holding his hand which was on my waist.
"What are we gonna tell my brother and Tanishq?"
"That we're together again. And now there's no more misunderstanding." He replied now looking in my eyes.
"It's not that easy, Abhi. They're never gonna let you come near me again." I explained placing a hand on his cheek.
"I'll try to make them understand." He kissed my palm.
"Can we tell them sometime later? I need some time to prepare myself." I exaplined.
"Kunal bhai will get so mad after listening to it. You know how he is."
"It's alright. We can tell them anytime when you're ready." He replied.
"But for that we need to maintain our distance atleast in front of them. We have to pretend that we're still not on talking terms." I said making him groan.
"God! How much more wait I've to do? Let's just tell them right now. "
"Abhi." I lightly narrowed my eyes warning him.
"Alright, alright. We'll tell them when the time is right. Fine?" I nod at him as he finally laid beside me closing his eyes.
"Bhai is gonna come tomorrow from his foreign trip. So you better behave in the office. Otherwise, he'll surely break some of your bones." I warned him but he sushed me.
"Alright. I understood. Now just let me sleep. I'm feeling this peaceful after a long time." He pulled me even more closer while hiding his face in my neck making me smile.
"Goodnight." I kissed his forhead getting no reply back indicating me that he has already slept.
I really missed him.
