Basically, I am going to bring up some topics that evolve around Eurovision 2023, I will state my opinion and feel free to debate in the comments!
Topic 1:
Should the all around the world vote stay?
It didn't affect too much so, yeah.Topic 2:
Should the semi's stay non jury?
On one hand, the public missed songs like Alija, Power and Echo. The public also let songs like polands get through!
However, the jury has showcased in the final that they still need to get their act together.
So, no don't let the jury vote in the semi-final.Topic 3:
Poland sent Blanka. Was that fair?
I'm sure the comments will explain to anyone who doesn't know!
Simple, it wasn't fair!Topic 4:
Victor Vernicos representing Greece fair?
As far as I know there was no proof at all! Plus a court refused to take the case! All I know is she could have eliminated Greece. So I am just going to say it was fair.Topic 5:
Where the non qualifiers, correctly non qualifiers?
Azerbaijan- Brilliant song, just not enough Eurovision in it. Correct.
Denmark- this , Danish dude who pick this, is why you pick what the country wanted, because if it doesn't qualify then at least your country supported and loved it! It wasn't a Eurovision song! Correct.
Georgia- Not correct. This was not a non qualifier! Just watch the video!
Greece- I feel so bad for him! In my opinion he had a better song then some that got into the final. However, I don't feel so strongly so I will say it was correct!
Iceland- Not correct! Watch the show. It's a strong independent women, who is mentally stable having fun. She has really impressive vocals though to be able to throw herself across the stage and still hit the note...
Ireland- as much as I would have loved this to qualify. Correct.
Latvia- not correct! Its a masterpiece!
Malta- as much fun and party this is. Correct
Netherlands- I felt so bad for them! They delivered and showed the people saying they couldn't sing that they were wrong and then they didn't qualify. Correct.
Romania- the staging.😠😕😭 as much as I love this song. The staging was so crap... correct.
San Marino- correct, no explanation needed!Topic 6:
Entry's to political?
Serbia, Switzerland, Croatia, Czechia, Ukraine. (Obviously political)
Romania(the nf performance), Georgia (mentions war once). (Not political)
The answer is yes there political. Let's face it there will always be a political undertone. However that doesn't stop the good songs being submitted and doing well. Let people write songs about issues they are passionate about! People will vote because they connect with the song. You can't control all tge extraneous variable otherwise the contest would be on the radio. As long as it doesn't offend people...Topic 7:
Which countries were robbed?
(From the final)Finland, Norway (only a bit), Estonia (only a bit), Czechia, Cyprus (only a bit) , Armenia, Austria, France, Spain, Moldova, Switzerland (only a bit) , Slovenia, PORTUGAL, GERMANY!!!!!!!
Topic 8:
Who should have won Kaarija or Loreen?
Kaarija, he got the second highest public vote ever! Only second to Kalush Orchestra which obviously got a boost by pity votes. That is an amazing achievement, how can you not win after that???Topic 9:
Get rid of juries next year?
No, just make sure thet actually follow theit guidelines instead of doing whatever they want otherwise they aren't doing their job!Anyway, thanks for reading, if there are any subjects that I've missed please tell me. Hope you enjoyed, Kia.
