"Hey, Vent!" A voice called out. Vent stirred awake, looking to the side to see Aile. "What is it?" Vent asked, sleepily. "While you were asleep, I found something you might find interesting," Aile said, taking Vent's hand. Vent slowly climbed out of bed, following Aile to the pilot room. There, she pointed out a small, glowing orb. Vent looked at her, confusedly, then looked back at the orb. Then, Prairie walked into the room.
"Vent, you remember when I had you shut down the power plant?" She asked. "Yeah... oh, is this one of the Cyber Elves from there?" Vent asked. "Not quite. This one was following you two around," Prairie explained, "What is one thing you two will never forget?"
Vent began to shake. So many things instantly flooded his head that it gave him a headache. He then said, after some time, "Boss' death."
"Yes, Giro was a good adoptive father for you two."
Aile looked down. "Speaking of Giro, I miss him."
"Well, I'm back," A voice said. "Who said that?!" Vent exclaimed. The Cyber Elf slowly began to change shape, and then there, right beside Prairie, was Girouette.
"B-Boss...?" Vent choked. "Great to see you two again, Vent, Aile," Giro said, pulling the two of them into a hug.
Vent started to cry as he clung onto his boss. Aile was full on weeping into Giro's shoulder. Giro smiled softly as he rubbed Vent and Aile's backs.
"They've missed you," Prairie said. "I can tell," Giro said.
Suddenly, an alert came on. Giro pulled away, looking at it. Vent looked at the alert as well. Aile joined them.
"It appears that the city is covered in a dense fog," Prairie stated. "I-is that bad?" Vent asked, stumbling over his words. "It just means that we have to be careful about the area," Prairie responded. "This doesn't seem like an average foggy day. There's something wrong with it. I can't put my finger on it, though," Giro said. "I think the forecast said it was supposed to be sunny today," Aile commented. "Well the forecast doesn't always know the weather patterns," Vent said.
"Actually, there was no fog around the surrounding areas, so something is wrong," Prairie commented.
Suddenly, the screen was flooded with missing persons reports, which spooked everyone.
"This... isn't your normal fog."
