Ashe walked to Grey's sleeping quarters, wanting to learn more about him. As she walked inside, the ground shook. Ashe stood there, confused. They weren't even close to a fault line, so how could an earthquake strike there? Ashe shrugged, walking closer to Grey's bed. He looked so peaceful in his sleep.
"Grey, wakey wakey!" Ashe whisper-shouted. Grey slowly opened his eyes, looking at Ashe. He smiled slightly when he saw the young hunter. As he climbed out of his bed, he stumbled.
"Woah! Don't need to fall there!" Ashe said, helping the small Reploid regain his footing. "Thank you, Ashe," Grey said, scratching his head. "So, have you found out more about yourself?" Ashe asked. "I wish," Grey responded dejectedly. "Hey, don't worry about it! For all we know, we could be related!" Ashe said. "Yeah, I know. Also, what was that rumbling earlier?" Grey asked. "Dunno. Maybe construction?" Ashe suggested. "Try not to think about it. Let's go find some booty!" And with that, Ashe left.
Grey sighed. Model A popped up, resting himself on Grey's shoulder. Grey looked at the Biometal and smiled.
"Hey, Ay!" Grey said. "Grey, I'm starting to have a bad feeling about this place," Ay said. "Hm? What do you mean?" Grey inquired. "I don't know, it just seems off today. The rumbling and shit."
"True, I feel like there's something else going on than what it looks like."
"Well, let's go meet up with Ashe!"
"Yeah, let's go!"
As Grey met up with Ashe at the entrance of the Arctic Ice Floe, the ground shook again. Grey panicked.
"Grey! Take my hand!" Ashe shouted, extending her hand. Grey gripped her hand as the ground opened to reveal a worm-like creature with long tentacles that ended in sharp claws. Grey screamed one of the claws slit his leg open, blue blood spilling out onto the concrete. The creature then sank back into the ground, leaving the trio to the rubble.
"Lemme see your wound, Grey," Ashe said, turning Grey's leg to see the injury. "Let's get you back to the camp," Ashe whispered, pulling Grey over her back.
When the group got back, one of the nurses helped Ashe get Grey to a medical center in the camp, where they cleaned his wounds and bandaged his injuries.
As Ay and Ashe left to file an incident report, another hunter came up to them.
"What happened?!" The hunter asked frantically. "We were attacked by a worm with tentacles!" Ay said. "Correct. It injured Grey," Ashe added.
"Wait, where were you attacked?"
"Entrance to Arctic Ice Floe."
As the hunter left, Ay said, "Who knew that that getting attacked would get us someone asking about us?"
"They're probably just worried about us. After all, we're first class hunters," Ashe said. "But something about that attack was... weird. We should file this report quickly."
