Giro helped Vent clean off Model Z and X, who were covered in acid spider blood. Giro smiled at the Biometal that was once his. Vent smiled softly at Giro. As the two finished up, Aile walked in.
"Oh? Hey, Aile," Vent said, wiping Model X's 'face.' "Vent!" Model X hissed, almost playfully. "That tickles!"
"Those two," Model Z stated. Giro laughed. As Giro dried off Model Z, Aile explained that there was something in the mist and that it might be the cause of the disappearances in Cinq Ville.
"Sounds reasonable, but it also doesn't," Vent said. "I know, but we can't take any chances that this IS the cause of the disappearances," Aile argued. "I kno--" Vent suddenly started coughing and, eventually, fainted.
"Vent!" Model X shouted, trying to stir him awake. Model Z soon left the room, looking for Prairie. The sudden faint from Vent sent Aile into a panic. She started to check for a pulse, and she sighed when she found one. She then started trying to give her adopted brother CPR, but Giro stopped her.
"Wait until Prairie comes. She'll figure out what to do next," Giro said. "Okay..." Aile said, trailing off. She picked up Vent's head and sat it on her lap. She then grabbed his hand, calming down as she heard Vent's soft breathing.
Soon, Model Z came in with Prairie. Giro looked at her, smiling. As Prairie made her way to Vent, Aile gave her a worried look. Prairie looked at Aile reassuringly. Aile soon nodded, allowing one of the Guardians that came with Prairie to take Vent from her.
"Please make sure he recovers," Aile requested, a slight amount of pain in her eyes. "Don't worry, he'll be in the medical area. For now, I want you two to go and search for the missing people," Prairie responded, looking at Giro. " Make sure that she is okay throughout the mission. We don't want her to become Model W food."
"Alright." Giro slowly walked away, Aile running to meet with him, the Biometals chasing them.
As Giro and Aile scanned Area H-2, a young girl with green hair and red eyes ran up to the duo. The girl tugged on Giro's sleeve, grabbing the two's attention.
"Sir! Ma'am! Please help me!" The girl shouted in a panicked voice. "Hey, little girl. What do you need?" Aile asked. "My brother is hurt and needs help!" The girl responded.
As the group got to a young blue haired boy, the green haired girl introduced herself as Pandora. Aile recognized the name as she got to the boy. Giro checked for any injuries, causing the boy to suck in a sharp breath. Aile noticed a gash on the boy's stomach, tapping Giro to look at it.
"Holy fuck, that is going to require a shit ton of medical attention," Giro said, lifting up the boy. As he left, Aile and Pandora followed.
"You know, I knew someone by the name of Pandora when I was younger," Aile said. "Might be a coincidence," Pandora said. "I wonder where she is no-- Whoa!" The ground shook as Aile spoke, catching her off guard. Everyone stopped, looking around, until a huge worm-like creature burst through the ground. Giro backed away, his glasses having fallen off. Pandora sprinted to pick up the glasses, causing the worm to go after her. Aile whipped out the Beam Saber, holding it in front of her. She waited for the perfect moment before decapitating the horrifying beast. Orangey black blood splattered onto everyone. Giro shielded the boy from the blood, making sure none of it got into his wounds.
"Well, we're going to need a bath after this," Pandora said, walking towards the Transerver.
The group teleported into Area X-1. Giro ran to the medical center, Pandora rushing behind him. Aile joined, only to check on Vent, though.
As the group ran into the room, Vent sat there, trembling. Giro laid the boy onto a bed, letting the nurses tend to him.
"Vent!" Aile shouted, running to see her brother. Vent opened his eyes, tears spilling from him. Small, shaky breathes escaped his mouth.
"Vent?" Aile whispered, slowly placing her hand onto Vent's face, wiping the tears. "A-Aile... I'm glad to see your o-okay," Vent said, stumbling over his words. "Is everything going alright?" Aile asked softly. "Y-Yeah... I'm fine," Vent choked. "I know that tone. You're not okay, are you?" Aile asked. Vent shook his head. "I'm going to file this mission report, then I'll be back to help you," Aile said, softly smiling. Vent smiled a bit. Aile walked away, ready to file the mission report on the unusual encounter her and Giro had.
