Vent slowly made his way back into th he abandoned Express he used to work at. He looked at a corner to see something familiar. As he walked towards it, Aile explored the Express again. Vent picked up the item to see it was a framed picture. Studying the picture, he realized it was an old picture of Giro, Aile, and him. Giro noticed Vent looking at the object and walked over to him.
"You were so happy when you were younger," Giro commented, spooking Vent. "How long ago did we take this picture?" Vent asked. "About... thirteen years ago," Giro said. "You were so innocent."
"I... I was," Vent choked. "Hey, what's wrong?" Giro asked. "Memories," Vent whimpered. Giro noticed small tears slipping from his eyes.
"Vent, you're crying," Giro pointed out. "N-No I'm not!" Vent hissed, causing Giro to flinch. "Uh, guys?" Aile called out. "Yeah?" Giro responded. "Look up."
Everyone looked at the ceiling of the Express to see a giant spider, covered in blue blood. Vent stumbled backwards as the spider locked eyes with him.
"Vent, I think it's staring at you," Aile said. "No shit, Sherlock!" Vent hissed. The spider suddenly leaped towards Vent, which caused him to panic. He looked around before jumping out of the way, sending the spider crashing into the wall.
"Damn, that thing is fast!" Aile said, Megamerging as fast as possible. Vent joined her. Giro was unfortunately unable to Megamerge due to him now being a Cyber Elf.
Suddenly, a gunshot rang out through the Express. Everyone looked to see a girl with long silver hair, holding a gun as she aimed at the spider. Vent recognized her.
"Ashe!" Vent shouted, waving to her. Ashe looked at him, smiling. "Hey Vent! Long time no see!" Ashe said.
Suddenly, another spider jumped out, grabbing Ashe's gun with its silk. As the gun was dragged away, it melted.
"W-What?!" A silver haired boy shouted, confused. "Hey Grey!" Aile shouted. "Aile, not the time! We have acid spiders right now!" Grey shouted before screaming, "MEGAMERGE!"
"Another Chosen One?!" Giro exclaimed. Grey shot at the spider multiple times, killing it. Giro was trembling. Aile just stared at the spider bodies. Vent poked the spider bodies.
"Hey, Vent, who is this?" Ashe asked, pointing at Giro. "Oh, that's my boss," Vent said. "This is Giro, our boss. Giro, this is Ashe and this is Grey," Aile explained. Giro was shaking. "Boss?" Vent whispered. "Let's get back to Guardian HQ, Aile." Vent picked up Giro as he left.
"What were those?" Aile asked. There was a long pause before Grey said, "Acid spiders."
