When they arrived at the restaurant, Aurelien asked for a table away from everyone else, and the waiter led them to the back of the room, near a bay window. They let go of each other's hands, before he moved her chair back so that she could sit down, then sat down opposite her in turn.
"Are you sure you only want French fries ? There are so many better things than that too..."
"my fries are dear to me," she replied, to which the young Frenchman laughed.
"as you wish, but there's nothing to stop you taking something else on the side"
"I'm not very hungry, so I think I'll stick to the fries."
he smiled, then closed the card before ordering.
"You're taking fries too ?" she asked in astonishment.
"Well, yes... I didn't feel like having anything but fries with my first date tonight".
"after a match, you'd rather have fries than anything else ? you need more energy after all the calories you've burned on the pitch".
He let out a laugh before placing his hand on hers.
"you're cute"
she blushed and cleared her throat
"you want to know what was the hottest thing i saw tonight ?"
"no, what is it ?" she smiled
"it was you flunking alexander arnold in my jersey"
Primavera laughed.
"well glad you liked it then... "
"but i was pretty surprised when i saw you in my jersey actually"
"why ? because of last time ?"
he nodded
"would you rather I wore Trent's jersey ?" she joked
Aurélien almost choked on the french fries he was eating.
"I mean... I could very well have worn Robbo's jersey too, I really like him." she continued which make Aurélien scoffed.
"You're right, keep talking like that... you chose real madrid, and my jersey, so no, you would never have chosen to support them and their old liverpool team."
She smiled.
"in any case i would have chosen real madrid, since it would have been weird to support my ex-boyfriend's team, when the one i have feelings for plays for the real madrid." he smirked
"in any case, my shirt looks better on you than on me."
Then the evening unfolded perfectly, the meal going smoothly, the two of them talking a lot, and for a first date it was a real success.
"would you like to come to my apartment ?" he suggested.
"why not ?" she replied, smiling broadly.
aurélien smiled and took the opportunity to kiss her quickly, running his hand through her hair.
"well, let's go"

"didnt know you liked primroses" the young woman said observing the flowers
"actually... these flowers were for you..."
"oh really "?
"yes, but I couldn't find the right moment to give them to you because when I went to your hotel you were on the phone with Trent... and I didn't want to disturb you..."
"Is that why you knew where to find me earlier ?"
"no, to tell you the truth I'd completely forgotten, I was just looking for you and when I found you I remembered that you had to meet him"
she says nothing
"Are you angry ? Because I overheard your conversation ? I know I shouldn't have but-"
"no I'm not angry, the only thing I should be angry about is the way you treat those poor flowers"
he let out a sigh of relief before laughing.
"that's why they were meant for you, I'm no good with plants"
"it's not that difficult to water flowers aurel"
"I know, but I often forget everything, and when it comes to watering flowers, it's really the least of my worries."
she smiles
"I'm sorry I overheard your conversation, it wasn't my intention."he said, putting his hands around her waist.
"don't worry, it's not like you ruined anything or did anything wrong"she replied, wrapping her arms around his waist.
"you know I'm a little shocked that you know the name of these flowers ?"
"people often give me primroses because they resemble my first name, so I've come to know them perfectly."
"you got me on that one... next time I'll give you roses, red ones, hoping you'll know their meaning better than primroses..."
then he kissed her for a long time, smiling against her lips
"so wanna play monopoly ?" he joked wich make her smile
"let's see if you win" she replied by kissing him
that night aurélien felt he'd won everything
