It had now been a week since Aurelien had been at his girlfriend's, he'd thought about a lot of things and rethought them over and over in his head, and now he'd made up his mind. He looked around to make sure she was well hidden and couldn't be heard.

He heard his girlfriend come in with the sound of the door going behind, and was almost startled to see if she'd find out.

Primavera placed his jacket on the chair and saw Aurelien standing there waiting for him with a big smile on his face.
She smiled before rushing over to him like a 5-year-old and throwing herself into his arms.

"I have the impression that you act like your pupils sometimes... "Aurélien scoffed before stroking her hair.

"being with them makes me feel like a child again, sometimes I don't even feel like their teacher anymore," she laughed.

"about that... we need to talk" the young footballer said, pulling away from her as she lifted her head to look into his eyes.

"is it serious ?" she asked, really worried to see the serious look on her boyfriend's face.

"it's not "serious" but let's just say... I've got something to ask you that's pretty important he said,"glancing around her room.

primavera nodded and sat down on the sofa, while he remained standing, as if ready to make a childish presentation.

"have I done something wrong aurel ?"

"no no no not at all, not at all far from it chérie," he panicked

"you're scaring me a little..." she said with a nervous laugh

Aurelien smiled, but a thud was heard in his room, startling Primavera who immediately turned around.

"what was that ?"

"What was what ?"

"aurel don't play dumb, we both heard the same noise"

"ah, maybe it's a pigeon, I know I forgot to close the window when I left your room !"

she frowned

"Well, I'll go and shut it then"

"no no, stay seated, I can go and check !"he said nervously

"you're acting weird, are you hiding something from me ?"

"No, why should I ? You're my girlfriend Prim'!"

However, just as the young woman was feeling a little less anxious in the midst of this strange atmosphere, another even louder noise was heard in her room again.

"I'll go and check"

"No, sit down, I'll do it !"

"I can do it, it's my room !"

"please stay seated Prim"

"you're hiding something from me and this not-so-smart thing that keeps making noises is hiding in my room !"

"Primavera !"

"Aurélien ! I'm going to do it, so leave me alone, and if it's a pigeon I don't know why you're so worried !"

Primavera was now tense, not knowing what to expect when she returned to her room. Aurelien sighed, before sitting down on the sofa. He put his head in his hands.
This was it...
But the young woman was surprised when she entered the room, for what she found was much bigger than a pigeon. She left the room almost dumbfounded.

"can you explain ?" she said, holding the puppy in her arms.

"It was supposed to be a surprise, but I guess this little thing wasn't clever enough to understand me when I told him to be quiet." Aurélien said, glancing at the dog who was now licking Primavera's hands.

him ? is he a boy ?"

"yes, it's a boy, he must be two weeks old... and he's a welsh corgi."

"But why a puppy ? Are you offering him to me ?"

"My surprise was to ask you to come and live with me in Madrid. I've already found you another job as a teacher in a rather prestigious school where they'd be delighted to welcome you, and this little puppy would be there to keep you company when I'm abroad."

"did you use your celebrity to get me this job ?"

"no, not at all, I just sent them your resume and lots of other documents about you, you don't need me to succeed." Primavera smiles

"you know, you didn't need to offer me a puppy to tell me that, I'd have said yes straight away too."

"it's true !?" she nodded

"so I'll be able to return this ball of fur to its shelter-"

"no way, you gave me this adorable little welsh corgi now it's our child, and if you give up our child, our relationship is over Aurélien"

"i should have listened to vini and camavinga when they told me not to take a puppy..." the frenchman sighed

"expect to be jealous a lot of the time, because now I'm going to make it my priority. Primavera replied," kissing the puppy's head.

Aurélien smiled.

"I'm glad you asked me that, I've actually been thinking about it a lot since I left Madrid to come back here. I can't wait to move in with you." She replied, kissing his cheek. 

Primavera set the puppy down on the sofa before hugging her boyfriend, as best she could given their size difference.

"I love you," she said, smiling.

"and I love you even more," Aurélien replied before kissing his girlfriend, then stopping the kiss by placing her hand on his.

"not in front of the puppy."

"prim are you joking ?!" Primavera just laughed, while Aurelien pouted.

"I'm sorry I ruined your surprise... I just didn't expect it..." she said placing her hand  on his cheek.

"Actually, you didn't really ruin it, because there's still one thing I haven't told you..."

"what is it ?"

"I may have considered you saying no several times to my request to move in, hence the little puppy, but also... I happen to have tickets for the Spanish Grand Prix on the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit..."

"you know that you're the best boyfriend and i love you so much" Primavera kissed him as he embraced her at the same time. 

"you're going to make me meet lewis hamilton too I hope"

"we'll see if he has free time or not"
