A few weeks go by and the kid wakes up. The kid freaks out not knowing where he is. Zack looks at him.

"How you feeling?" Asked Zack
"Where am I? Who are you?" Asked the boy
"My name is Zack and you are in a tent in a safe place. Now how are you feeling?" Asked Zack
"I'm feeling fine" replied the boy
"That's good. What's your name?" Asked Zack
"William" said the boy
"Good to meet you William. The leader of this group will want to meet you, come with me" said Zack

The boy fallowed Zack to the leaders tent where the boy was taken in by a guard. A few minutes later a guard walked over to the training grounds.

"The leader requests to speak to you, Zack" said the guard
"Ok. Everyone run through some drills until I get back" said Zack. Zack walked with the guard to the tent where the boy entered minutes ago, then Zack walked in.
"Hello Zack. You remember the kid" said Susan
"I do remember him" said Zack
"Do you think you could get him to talk? He won't answer any of our questions" asked Susan
"I can try" replied Zack. Zack walked up to the William and knelt down beside him.
"Hey bud, could you answer her questions" said Zack. William shook his head no
"Would you answer them if I asked them?" Asked Zack. William nodded yes
"Can you give me a list of questions to ask and I'll talk to him" said Zack

Susan made a list and gave it to Zack. Zack then took William with him to the training grounds. William was very curious at the drills that the people were doing so Zack had one of them show William what to do, then having him do it himself. William caught on fast to all the training drills. Zack was impressed with the boy and the others who were training were amazed. Later that day Zack took William with him to his tent. Once there Zack started to ask questions. William answered them all and when the time came Zack left him to tell Susan what William said. Susan was amazed that Zack could get William to talk because Susan was unable to get him to say anything. Zack was about to leave when Susan stopped him.

"Why did you want to stay with him when he was unconscious?" Asked Susan
"I don't know. I just felt like I needed to be with him" replied Zack
"What do you mean you felt that you needed to?" Asked Susan
"I...I don't know how to explain it. I guess...it was a feeling of sorts. I don't even understand it" said Zack
"Can you explain more" asked Susan
"I guess it was a feeling that said that he needed me. When he woke up he was surprised to see me sitting by him. I...I don't know what I can say to clearly explain it other then I had a feeling that he needed me and he still does" said Zack
"I see. Well you should go back and check on him" said Susan

Zack left and walked back to the tent. When he entered he saw William examining a sword. He looked fascinated by the weapon, almost like he hadn't seen one before. Zack approached the boy and knelt down.

"Can you teach me to fight?" Asked William
"If you want but why?" Asked Zack
"To protect myself from..." said William trailing off
"From what?" Asked Zack
"The ones who hurt me" replied William
"Who hurt you?" Asked Zack
"You will see, their almost here to kill me" replied William
"How do you know that?" Asked Zack
"They would never let someone take me unless it meant finding this camp" said William
"I have warn the others" said Zack about to leave
"Can I come?" Asked William
"Yes, do come" replied Zack

William grabbed the sword and handed it to Zack, then they ran to the guards. As they ran Zack shouted that people were coming and they are dangerous. Everyone was getting ready for a battle. Zack and William reached Susan's tent. Susan was already ready for a battle, but she would have to talk to the people who they were most likely going to fight to find out why they are here. Everyone was in a hurry in a matter of minutes. Guards rushing to posts and people running with children to a cave. There were guards outside the cave and guards all over the camp ready to fight. William refused to leave Zack's side even when the guards tried to force him to the cave he would not budge. Eventually Zack said the boy stayed with him and the guards left it at that. Susan didn't question Zack knowing that the kid would be protected. Minutes go by and eventually they hear a sound. People were coming, marching through the forest. Until the appeared. Once they entered the camp they stopped. Then someone who can only be presumed as the leader stepped forward.
