A few years later they get a letter from Sofia. The letter was an invitation to her wedding. Zack was happy for his sister and went to it with William and Alice. Susan also got a letter and decided to go and see her old friend. On the day of the wedding Sofia saw Susan and went over to her.
"You came" said Sofia
"Yeah well I decided it was time to visit and what a better way then to come on your wedding day" said Susan
"I am so glad you came, I want you to meet my soon to be husband" said Sofia
"Okay well where are they?" Side Susan
"Fallow me" said Sofia
They walked through the crowd until they reached a man
"This is my soon to be husband, Ivan" sis Sofia
"Nice to meet you and you are" said Ivan
"Susan" said Susan
"Ah, Susan. Sofia has told me a lot about you" said Ivan
"Good things I hope" said Susan
"Yes all good things, now if you'll excuse me I need to go talk to my brother" said Ivan leaving
"I also have to go but I'll talk to you after the wedding" said Sofia leaving
"See you then" said Susan
Susan knew she wouldn't see Sofia after the wedding. Susan was going to be leaving immediately after the wedding, and she wasn't going to tell anyone that otherwise they'll try to stop her. Susan sat in the back of the room hoping that no one would sit with her.
"Excuse me miss, do you mind if we sit by you?" Asked a man
"No, not at all" replied Susan
"Thank you. I do say you haven't changed a bit, it's good to see you again...Susan" said the man
"How did you know..." said Susan looking up
"Surprised?" Said Zack
"No, not at all" replied Susan
"Want to meet see the kids?" Asked Zack
"Are Alice and William here?" Asked Susan
"Of course they're here, they're right behind me. William look who it is" said Zack
"Susan!" Exclaimed William
"Hey bud, it's good to see you. How old are you?" Asked Susan
"I'm thirteen now" replied William
"Want to meet Alice?" Asked Zack
"I haven't seen her since she was four" said Susan
"Alice, it's okay. This is an old friend, come on" coaxed Zack
"Hey Alice, I'm Susan" said Susan softly
"H-hi" said Alice shyly
"She's eight, right?" Asked Susan
"Yup" piped in William
"He Alice do you like animal?" Asked Susan
"Y-yeah" said Alice
"What type of animals?" Asked Susan
"Horses" said Alice
"Do you have one?" Asked Susan
"No" said Alice
"I have an idea, but I'll tell you after the wedding" said Susan
"Okay" said Alice
Susan wasn't expecting Zack and the kids to sit in the back with her but they did. When Sofia was coming she was glad to see her brother and the kids sitting by Susan. Because Susan ran into Zack she was forced to stay after the wedding. Later that night after all the celebrations and the wedding, Susan was staying in the castle for the night before she went back to the farm. Once Alice warmed up to Susan she started taking more and was having fun with Susan. William was happy to see Susan again so he was also with Susan. Zack walked in while they were playing and smiled, knowing that the kids liked Susan and he knew needed to do. He decided he put it off long enough and that they were going to visit Susan on her farm. The next day after Susan left Zack gathered the kids and talked to them about visiting Susan and the kids were very excited. So after a week had passed they set out to visit Susan. The reached Susan's farm a day later when Susan was feeding the animal.
"Susan!" Shouted William running to her
"William?" Said Susan looking back
"Hey, we figured we'd visit you and the farm" said Zack walking up to her while holding Alice's hand
"Zack, I didn't expect to see you here" said Susan
"Surprise, we wanted to surprise you" said Zack
"Susan" Said Alice
"What?" Asked Susan softly
"Can you get him to let go of me" asked Alice
"Zack, you heard her" said Susan
"Alright. There you go" said Zack letting go of her hand
"Freedom, animals" said Alice walking over to the fence
"You want to see them? Come with me" said Susan taking Alice's hand
Susan took Alice to see the animals and Alice became very excited. Alice got to pet the different animals and was happy, William also got to pet the animal. Zack saw how happy the animals made the kids and was relieved that it was a good idea after all to come out. Alice and William help Susan with work around the farm and Zack helps where he can. Later in the week Zack decides it's time, so he tells the kids to bring Susan over to a spot that they helped pick out. Soon after telling them and having them go and get her they return with Susan fallowing behind.
"Stop!" Exclaimed Alice
"Where are we?" Asked Susan who was blindfolded
Zack motioned for William to remove the blindfold
"What's going on?" Asked Susan wearily
"Just wait" said William and Alice at the same time. then Zack came out of hiding
"Susan, they picked out this spot. Do you like it?" Asked Zack
"It's a nice area, but why" asked Susan
"Well because I want to ask you something that the kids and I have been planning for a while now" said Zack
"Just do it" exclaimed Alice
Zack looked at Alice then to William and then back to Susan, he took a deep breath and got down on one knee, and as soon as he did that Susan's expression changed from confusion to shock
"Susan...when you sent people to free the prisoners and when you first spoke to me, I didn't understand anything that was happening, and I didn't understand who I was and why a sword was so important. But when we stayed in the cave with William and you told me everything...I was sorry for everything that my uncle had done. Right before you left I wanted to tell you so badly but I didn't know how, and when we saw you at the wedding I knew I had to so I gathered the kids after you left and told them a plan that they were very excited for...Susan will you marry me" asked Zack
"I-I-I don't know...I want to it's just I can't leave my family behind" said Susan looking down
"You won't be leaving your family behind, we will come to the farm every single year...and we will visit any place that you feel connected to your family. I promise" said Zack softly
"You do? You really promise?" Asked Susan beginning to cry
"I really mean it and I will never break the promises that I will make to you" said Zack
"Then I guess I will" said Susan who is crying at this point
"Yay!" Exclaimed the kids
"We won't rush the wedding. It will only happen when you are ready" said Zack
"I can't believe this, I can't believe any of this" said Susan
"You are going to be queen and you won't be alone, because you will have William, Alice, and me" said Zack
"Thank you" said Susan hugging the kids and then Zack
They planned the wedding for weeks and then finally decide when it will happen. Sofia and Ivan were going to be there along with Nikolas but he was going to have a guard with him and he was going to be chained. A month goes bye and it's the day of the wedding. Susan is nervous because she doesn't know if she's ready, and Zack can tell that she's nervous. Zack sends Alice to help Susan get ready while William helps Zack get ready and vice-versa. All the people that were invited to attend the wedding arrive, and Zack goes out to his place while William stands in the front with Sofia and Ivan. Soon after Susan walks in with Alice fallowing her. Once Susan goes to her spot Alice stands next to her brother. Then the wedding starts.
"We are gathered her today for the marriage of Zack and Susan. Zack, do you take Susan to be your wife" said the Bishop
"I do" said Zack
"And Susan, do you take Zack to be your husband" said the bishop
"I-I do" said Susan
"Is there anyone who rejects this marriage" said the bishop
No one said anything
"Then I pronounce you husband and wife" announced the bishop
"You ready for this?" Whispered Zack
"I guess, since we're already here...but I don't know if I can do this" whispered back Susan
"Neither am I...but we will make it through...together" whispered Zack
"I know...then let's begin the journey together" whispered Susan
"Than let's" whispered Zack
The wedding ended a few hours later and everyone was happy. William and Alice were excited that Susan was now a part of the family. Zack was glad that he was finally able to do the one thing that he struggled with and that now he was able to be there for Susan. Susan was now the queen and ruled with Zack who helped her learn different things about being ruler.
