"Aren't you excited B?" Kat asked, or rather exclaimed. She wasn't the inside-voice kind of person. She was more of the im-gonna-loud-talk-cause-WHAT-IS-WHISPERING-ANYWAYS! in the movie theater when something so important happens she has to comment. It always resulted in a lot of weird looks. "C'mon you can't even pretend you're not excited, we're gonna run this town!"
I rolled my eyes this time, "Kat, it's really not a big deal, come one let it go already." I hoped my sense of reason would get to her. I don't even know why i tried.
"Bernadine Gwendolyn Smith, did you just speak the works i think my ears heard? No big deal?" She took a deep breath, and i considered running off to avoid her rant again. "We, B, we as in you and i or me and you or whatever, are done. Were like totally done with school and now we have summer before we go off to wherever we choose! Or i guess that's just me, you can go to that hippie thing or whatever. But this is out time! WE WILL RUN THE TOWN!" She rose out of her chair, scraping it against the tile floor, and violently shook her fist. "WE SHALL RUN THIS TOWN B!!!" I sank down in my seat to avoid the glares we were receiving from our fellow Starbucks patrons.
"Yeah, uh I'd like to go now please." I said. She looked down at me and responded by scrunching up her face ridiculously. "Yeah I'll meet you outside B."
