I drove home, Frappuchino sliding across the hood the entire time. It was like the "spilled milk" thing, or clouds, I kept glancing down at the hood and thought oh wow, that's like a dragon wearing a cowboy hat! I'm surprised I didn't wreck my car.
I pulled into the empty driveway and rummaged through my purse for my phone but...
"CRAP ON A STICK!" I shouted to my self. I rested my face in my hands and nearly cried. "okay, okay B deep breaths now, it's alright," I said, comforting my self (OMG B seriously you don't even, like, have, like, friends, OMG [shut up, Tiffini, you're a figment of my imagination!]).
I drove back to Starbucks, in a furious haze. I pulled into the parking lot, and it was more crowded than it was before. I spent two hours crawling on the ground, looking under cars for my phone, and under tables inside.
"Ow!" I shouted, grapping the crown of my head where I slammed it against the bottom of the table, "Ugh, is that gum? I give up!" . The customers all looked at me, which was reasonable as I was sitting on the ground, flustered with gum in my hair.
"Hey," I heard someone say, "do you need help looking for something?" I looked up to find a set of chocolate-brown eyes looking at me.
"I...uh...you...ummm..." Oh my god, oh my god, I thought. I snapped my fingers, and pointed at him. "You, my friend, are like..." (OMG B WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!? [I DON'T KNOW!]) "wow, okay bye" I stood up off the ground and rushed out the door, swerving around the fancy-dressed people juggling their coffee and phones. I couldn't even form an actual sentence. I must have looked like a mad woman. Which, I guess, wasn't far off from the truth.
I didn't even know actual people looked that good. Like, really good. I was almost to my car when a hand touched my shoulder.
