The second I parked the car in my driveway, I called Kat.

"Hello?" she asked groggily, she must have taken a nap.

"Kat. Oh my god, KAT! Come over now. Bring ice cream." I held my phone between my shoulder and ear as I unlocked the front door, one of my few skills.

"Good lord woman, so feisty! I'll be there soon." I set my things on the kitchen counter, and walked back to my room, changing in to sweats and grabbing blankets for Kat and I. I considered getting bowls out...but settled on two large spoons (get a trough, why don'tcha [shut up, you'd be the same way!]). I sunk down in the couch, cradling my phone in one hand and the spoons in the other. I had to tell Kat about that fine thang I saw and Starbucks. And also how I ruined everything with my pizza phone, unless he's into chicks who obsess over pizza? And, I mean, laziness and Netflix come hand-in-hand with pizza so he must have a fitting, yet embarrassing, image of me. I saw the headlights from Kat's car shine through the kitchen window, soon followed by her barging in with a Kroger bag.

"What time is it?" she asked, standing theatrically with her jazz hands out.

"Time to eat a tub of ice cream while I tell you a really embarrassing story, while Bridzillas is playing so I don't feel so bad about myself?"

"Hey, sounds like my kind'o night!" She came in and made her self at home. She opened the fridge and shouted "B, where's all the food? This things should be filled with stuff for me!"

"Sorry I haven't gone shopping in weeks, we'll just order a pizza or something," she chimed in for the last bit, synchronizing my we'll just order a pizza or something, since I said that practically everyday. I rolled my eyes at her, she knew me too well.

"Hold up, you said something about an embarrassing story?" She rested her chin in her hands and wiggled her eyebrows. "Is it...about a boy?" she asked, stretched out the "O".

"Oh, come on!" I replied through a mouthful of Double Dunker ice cream, my absolute favorite. My lips curled into a slight smile, "maybe."

"Ooooo Bernadine," she wiped an imaginary tear from her eye, "I never thought the day would come." I giggled and threw on of the pillows on the couch at her.

"Okay, I'll tell you about it after the pizza has been ordered." I pulled up my phone and dialed Pizza Hut, a number I now knew by heart.

"Oh, put it on speaker phone! I wonder if it'll be that guy who always says honey-bear." I put my phone between us and listened to it ring.

"Hello, Pizza Hut are you calling for delivery tonight?" said the manly voice on the other line.

"He sound ho-o-ot!" Kat whispered, or at least attempted to whisper. It ended sound like a loud screeching.

"Shut up!" I whisper-yelled back at her, smacking her hand. "Yes, that'll be deliver.

"Great, what can I getcha?" he asked. Even if I wouldn't admit it to Kat, she was totally right (Mhmm, that's right B!).

"Uh, yeah could I get a large cheese pizza," I said, looking at Kat to make sure it was what she wanted. She nodded, "with half with olives and banana peppers, and the other just plain cheese." Kay stuck her tongue out and made gagging noises.

"Okay, so a large cheese pizza with half banana pepper and olives?"

"Yes," I replied.

 "Alright, what's your address?"

"1342 Givens Street," I said.

"Okay, the total will be $14.50. It will be delivered within 10 minutes."

"Great, thank you," I said, my voice squeaking slightly, as it usually did whenever I talked on the phone.

"Thank you indeed," Kat in a deep, sultry voice. I playfully shoved her and ended the call. "Mmm, I hope another hottie delivers the pizza." She rolled onto her back and took a Snapchat of her sprawled on the floor.

"Wow, how majestic," I commented, "and we don't even know he was hot, maybe he just had a nice voice."

"Well, that's just cruel. And misleading." I chuckled and shoved another spoonful of ice cream in my mouth. "Hey, you still need to tell me about your embarrassing boy drama from today!"

"Oh my god, okay so it was pretty bad. Or, actually, really...really bad. I had to go back to Starbucks since I forgot my phone, so I spent, like, hours crawling around looking for it. And I was under a table and I smacked my head on the bottom of it and got gum in my hair and this guy asked if I was looking for something." She squealed with excitement.

"Man, I left at the wrong time!" She said teasingly, "carry on."

"Well, he was super good lookin'. Like, in my head I was just like daaayum boy, you fine."

"Details, details!"

"Ok, so he had like dark brown eyes and dark hair. Oh my god and he had dimples! And an adorable smile! Oh god, he was perfect."

"Please tell me you got this fine specimen's number." I looked down.

"Uh, not quite? I kinda...wasn't able to form a full sentence." Her jaw dropped.

"B...B...okay, so uh, how do I put this?" She gently grabbed my hand and held it between her pale hands, and looked me straight in the eye. "You stupid. You stupider than stupid." I rolled my eyes.

"If you had seen his face you would have done the same."

"Uh, no. I'd have married him on the spot."

"Well he did say see ya around, so yeah?" He had said that, right? I didn't just imagine that? Cause I imagined us majestically riding a horse at sunset on the beach so...

"Well then, I vote we hunt him down. Go polish you binoculars or whatever!" We laughed, and continued to laugh and gorge ourselves with ice cream. Nine minutes after we had placed out order the doorbell rang.

"Ooohhh, that's my favorite sound," I said, sticking my spoon in the tub and jumping off the couch, grabbing my purse from the counter on the way to the door. Kat followed.

I opened the door, and was met with the delicious smell of pizza. And dimples paired with chocolate brown eyes.
