Wish : She wished that she could understand animals and become closer to them.

Normal Appearance :
She dresses quite plainly out of school, usually wearing only a simple blouse and shorts with black shoes. Her long hair is tied into a low ponytail which she slings over her right shoulder. She has bangs that hang down either side of her face, with some in the centre of her forehead. Her hair is a dark forest-green, and she has matching eye colour as well. A locket is always present around her neck which holds the picture of she, Yuki, her brother and her parents when she was much younger.

Puella Magi Appearance :
She wears a dark green jumpsuit with an exposed diamond-like area at her chest. Her skirt seems simple, but behind it, it billows out like a bird of Paradise's tail. A long scarf is tied loosely around her neck. She still wears her locket even in battle. Her dark green Soul Gem is inset into an intricate weaving of an armband on her upper left arm. Knee-high boots in two pieces adorn her feet, and she wears light green leggings to complete her outfit.

Weapon and Abilities :
Shika is one of the rare Puella Magi being able to harness the power of the elements. With her warhammer, she can summon forth the earth to rise and batter her foes, or make a hard barrier around herself to block enemy projectile attacks. Her warhammer has a very long handle with can be extended to great lengths or retracted for easy keeping. One end of the hammer is spiked, allowing her to give the foe a quick jab. The hammer head is two-sided - one is flat and blunt like normal hammers, the other is spiked upwards like a lance. It is quite heavy, thus her attacks pack quite the punch, stunning enemies with the flat end or impaling them with the sharp end.
Besides that, her wish has granted her the ability to understand animal speech and also indirectly, to control them. She can form earthly animals to fight for her using her elemental powers. Her Shiba Inu, Yuki, can transform into a large, armoured beast which she usually rides into battle with. Yuki herself can attack, ripping at Witches and Wraiths with her fangs and claws. Witches and Wraiths would tremble at the sight of Shika riding into battle on a white beast, and they would stand no chance either.

Trivia :
~It is very rare for a Puella Magi to have so many abilities at the same time. This makes Shika a very powerful person indeed - not only can she engage in melee combat, she can also use ranged elemental attacks or mounted beast attacks, making her a formidable ally or dangerous foe.
~Shika loves animals more than humans. She is painfully antisocial and always turns to her dog first before anyone else. As she likes to say, animals never betray you, and they love you for who you are. However, this personality trait does not stop her from forming strong friendship bonds with Akira Oda and Tera Aido (both coming soon).
~Her name literally means 'deer' (Shika) 'pure water' (Kiyomizu)
