Let's Talk First

Rangi's Pov

I woke up not recognizing the place or bed I'm sleeping in but then I remembered what happened yesterday, I don't know if me and Kyoshi is still friends, I don't know anything anymore.

I checked the time and saw it was 4 am so I got 4 hours, I'll just have to sneak out of their house and head home since I don't think Kyoshi wants to see me right now, yes we've talked but not really, we still need to discuss everything and I need to talk to Yun.

I got up from kyoshi's bed and made it up, I put my shoes on and I changed out of the clothes Kyoshi gave me last night and put on the clothes I had on the previous days, I walked down the stairs to see Kyoshi still asleep on the couch, I went up to her but then realized that I had to go but I so badly wanted to kiss her, instead I kissed her forehead and left.

Kyoshi's Pov

I woke up at 5 am and I was on my way to wake up Rangi so that I can walk her home but as I entered the room, there was no one on the bed but there was a note.

Thanks for lending me your clothes and thanks for letting me sleep at your place, I'm really sorry for what happened yesterday, I'll see you at school

She left, I guess I'll see her in school.

Kyoshi's Pov

I got to school earlier than I expected I would but I got to talk to Yun and well it went well and he explained how he felt about Rangi and he seemed honest and clear, seems like his happy and I'm happy his happy but my heart still aches.

I searched for Rangi all over but there was no sign of her, either she was hiding from me or she didn't come to school, either way, I just wanna tell her I'm happy for her, but not right now since first period is starting

No one's Pov

There is still no sign of Rangi, Kiyoshi looked everywhere first break but everywhere she went Rangi was not there and everyone she asked didn't know, not even Koulin knew. So kyoshi just went on with her day since Rangi wasn't gonna show, she decided that she would go to Rangi's place after school

*Time Skip to after school*

--Kyoshi was on her way to Rangi's--

Rangi's Pov

I decided I would skip school since I didn't wanna face reality, Mother said it was ok, right now I am laying in bed watching whatever is playing on the TV, I wasn't really paying attention, all my mind could focus on was Kyoshi. Kyoshi has been on my mine a lot as of recent events, I tried to think of something else or someone else but my thoughts just kept going back to kyoshi, I couldn't even eat without thinking about her and honestly it's kinda frustrating me cause I need to be focused on other things like figuring out how to make this fake dating Yun thing work and I need to focus on my grades.

I wish I could just sleep the pain away but sadly I keep waking up and I try to avoid my problems but it doesn't always work out good, today is one of the days where I avoid my-

There was a knock on the door, mother didn't tell me that Atuat was coming over, I went out to go greet cause my mother taught me manners but who I saw at the door was not at all Atuat, it was Kyoshi. What was she doing here? Why would she wanna see me after everything that happened? What do I do? Ok first I need to calm down. Ok just act like everything is normal and greet her

"Howdy" I mentally face palmed myself for saying that, why in all hell did I say that

"Uhm howdy?" Kyoshi said back with a questioning look on her face.

"Huh what are you doing here" I asked but apparently it was rude since my mother hit my should.

"Come in kyoshi, are you here to give Rangi her homework?" Mom asked and honestly I forgot about the homework I was getting.

"Yes ma'am" kyoshi, she always so formal even after mom said she could call her Hei-Ran.

"Would you like to stay for dinner" mom asked and not to be rude but I hope she doesn't cause I can't handle myself if Kyoshi stays over.

"I can't tonight, dad's expecting me home so we can watch a movie together." Kyoshi said and my mom just smiled at her telling us that we should get to working on the homework.

We got upstair and we are now sitting in an awkward silence, I don't know what to say to her, I mean there is nothing to say I guess.

"Rangi.... I just wanted to say I'm happy for you and I'll always be your friend no matter what." Kyoshi and in all honesty I jumped into her arms and hug her tight even tho I didn't just wanna be friends with her, I wanted more but this is the best I'll get so I should savour it.

*Time Skip*

"Thanks for helping me with the homework." I said while standing at the door wishing fairwell as kyoshi is about to leave.

"Anytime." Kyoshi said and we just stood there staring into each other's eyes.

"Well I'll see you tomorrow." I said

"For real this time?" Kyoshi asked

"For real this time.... Goodbye kyoshi." I said

"Bye kyoshi!" Mom screamed from the living room.

"Bye Ms Hei-Ran! Bye Rangi." Kyoshi said as she walked back. Go the direction to her house.
