Nightfall (Rangshi Love Story)

Just Friends

Kyoshi's Pov

I'm on my way to school and I'm feeling pretty good for today, yesterday I had Rangi in my arms and we are doing well as just friends, I sigh as I think about me and Rangi just being friends, I want more, so much more but I can't, she would never feel the same.

Let's not dwell on the fact that I'm in love with Rangi and she doesn't feel the same way and she has a boyfriend and she's not gay....damn my life is sad.

Anyway today is a day to be excited, cause school has a field trip planned, every year on 15 July the school always goes on a week long trip to... anywhere really, our school has a lot of rich kids here and that's why they can afford to make it a week long and since the 15th is on a  monday we'll be going next week since its friday today, it's the seniors turn to go on a trip, of course the juniors already went on their trip. I'm excited to see what this year's trip is and I know everyone is going to go cause every year the seniors get to throw a big party celebrating the last year in this school.

I arrived at school on time and Rangi was waiting for me with all of my other friends which was really weird since they don't get along but its whatever.

"hey whats up?" I asked as I opened my locker.

"well we were discussing what the school trip would be." Kirima said 

"More like arguing about it." Rangi said smiling at me. I smiled back and I noticed Yun has a hand over her shoulder, I nodded my head at him and he smirked back at me. I will admit I am a little jealous but its fine.

"Topknot doesn't want the trip to be in a hotel, she says it boring." Lek said with a smirk

"I prefer we go somewhere different, its always the same old trip every year and its getting boring. I'd much rather go camping. Rangi said glaring at Lek for calling her topknot.

"I'm gonna have to side with Rangi on this one, I mean it is getting boring to do the same thing over and over again and plus if we go camping we could maybe search for a waterfall to swim in." I said looking at everyone and they all were nodding in agreement, Rangi smiled at me and I couldn't help the blush creeping up my face, I looked away.

"well its not our choice to decide so there's no use in debating." Wan said and yeah his right its not our choice. Just then Lao Ge came out of nowhere. his our History teacher and his always been a weird one to me  but his my favourite teacher, his cool.

"I couldn't help but overhear your talk and I think its a great idea to go camping, I'll suggest it to the other teachers and headmaster and we'll see what they'll think, anyway kids the bell is about to ring you should all head to class." Lao Ge said and everyone headed to class but before I headed to class I thanked the sir.

I was heading to class and before I was at the door, I saw Yun kiss Rangi's cheek and to be honest that hurt a lot, I mean it shouldn't hurt because I'm just her friends but it still hurts, I'm so much better than Yun, He plays with every girl his dated before and he doesn't deserve her. goddammit these stupid feelings of mine always does this ugh lets just get this day over with so I can forget I ever saw them kiss,

I stomped pass them and went to my seat in anger, I forgot Rangi sat next to me and she was coming my way and I didn't want her to ask whats wrong cause I can't just come out and say "Its nothing just the fact I hated seeing you kiss your good for nothing boyfriend and I'm the only one you should be kissing no else" I cant say that, then she'll know for sure I like her so I gotta make up an exscuse as to why I'm angry, why am I like this?

"kyoshi!" Rangi yelled at me pushing me out off my desk.

"oww, what was that for?" I asked getting up from the floor

"I called your name like 10 times." Rangi said

"Oh...sorry I didn't realise." I said scratching the back of my neck

"What were you so deep in thought about anyways?" Rangi asked and I don't have an answer

Luckily the teacher came in and started teaching leaving no room for us to talk about what I was thinking

*Time Skip*

It was now almost the end of school for this week we just have to hear what the announcements are and we are off to go home finaly.

"As we all know every year on 15 July we take all the seniors out on a trip and usually we would go to a different city but this year we thought of going camping, so pack all camping things and you won't have to worry about tents, the school will be providing them for you, you will be assigned with a Roomate two in each tent as there will not be enough space for four people but that is all, more information will be told to you on Monday. So get ready kids for next week is camping week." Headmaster said

The bell rang and we all headed out of class but before we left we all decided to go to kirimas place to watch a movie. I told kelsang where I was going and he was fine as long as I was home before 11pm. We headed to kirimas place we made a few stops on the way to get some snacks and candy, mostly candy.

*Time Skip*

Right now we are in the middle of watching our third movie and it's a horror movie, I forgot the name of it but it's cool and I'm so glad I'm not scared of things like these but sometimes the jump scares catch me off guard making me jump.

I'm laying on Rangi's lap as she plays with my hair, Yun's next to her with his arm around her shoulder, lek and Wan are sharing a blanket and hiding under the blanket when they get scared, kirimas is sitting by herself, I think she fell asleep a while ago.

The movie ended while I was in my daydream staring at Rangi, I sat up and checked the time, it was 10 I better head home before I make Kelsang worry, I stretched and stood up.

"Well I better head home, it's 10 and I need to be home before 11 so I'll see you guys whenever we decide to hangout again." I said as I was grabbing everything I had when I came inside the house.

" I better head home too." Rangi said

"I can give you a ride home." Yun said

"Ugh yea sure." Rangi said.

"We're sleeping over." Lek said as he woke up kirima.

"Cool. Well I'll see you guys whenever bye." I said walking out and walking in the direction of my house.

"Bye." Everyone said and Rangi got in Yuns car and they drove off in the direction of Rangi's place. 

That was relatively a good night, hopefully tomorrow will be a good day, maybe I should go over to Rangi's to see if she wants to hangout, I'll figure it out tomorrow.

This time I've finished the chapter at 5am...I really need to go sleep. Why is it always at night my mind starts to get active and then it never allows me to get any sleep or maybe I just don't wanna sleep anyway hope you enjoyed and yes it's a short chapter but it's fine because I'm updating more often and also thank you for the votes I really appreciate it, it inspires me to write more
