The palm trees were crooked, light blues and yellows were scattered everywhere, pink and blue truffula trees graced some gardens, and there were a few ponds with fish that were red and blue. The inhabitants looked equally odd. All of their pupils looked like thick "U"s. Some of their noses were the size of stubs. Under the town's highway, there was a Zax bypass where two yellow Zax with pointy hair were arguing with each other.
"I always go south making south-going tracks," affirmed the South-Going Zax. "So you're in my way and I ask you to move and let me go south in my south-going groove."
"I never have taken a step to one side," counter-argued the North-Going Zax. "And I'll prove to you that I won't change my ways if I have to keep standing here for fifty-nine days!" The buildings looked absolutely deranged. None were straight.
"All artists, no engineers," Letty snarked as they passed by a restaurant that resembled a green ham with concrete umbrellas that resembled sunny-side-up eggs sitting on forks. A circus tent with yellow and orange stripes was nearby and a train system glided above the streets. These trains each had five cabins each and the cabins were shaped like mine carts but in vibrant colors. Each cabin had umbrellas that were the shape of thick band-aids. A vendor was selling moose juice and goose juice.
"We need to find a library," reminded Harry. "Question is what one would look like here." The trio then saw a building on Mulberry Street where a giant and long top hat with red and white stripes marked the entrance. The brim was white. The back of the hat was sculpted into the building while the rest of it sat fifteen feet above the ground. On the left side of the hat, a large four-finger gloved hand pinched onto the hat as if it was tipping it. On the right side, a sign read "Seuss Landing Library Of Queries And Theories". As Harry, E.T., and Letty walked under the hat, there was a small chandelier with three ball-shaped lights drooping down in a triangular formation. The three opened the left of the two doors and entered. Inside was a grand display of books everywhere. The shelves were stacked in a curved fashion. A tall, black and white cat walked toward the three with a pleasant smile. He was wearing the same hat as the entrance and white gloves and a red bow tie on his neck. On his hands, he wore white mittens with a pinky and thumb sticking out for each.
"Salutations, I am The Cat In The Hat, and welcome to the library where we cover everything from abstemious to zayat!" Two strange little children with red onesies and puffy blue hair came rushing over to the trio. On their onesies, they had a large white circle that had their names labeled on it.
"Meet my assistants, Thing One and Thing Two. They'll be more than glad to help you!", said The Cat. Thing Two excessively shook E.T.'s hand.
"Who might you three be?", asked The Cat.
"I'm Harry Potter and this is Letty Ortiz, and he's E.T."
"What can I help you with today, boy with the lightning ray?", said the Cat.
"Is there any book here that has info on the AllSpark?", asked Letty. The Cat gave a puzzled look.
"The AllSpark?" He went to his ladder and it moved at a ridiculously fast speed across the "A" section. It stopped and The Cat pulled out a thin book. He blew the dust off of the cover and got off the latter. He handed it to Harry.
"Thanks," said Harry.
Malfoy, Thorfin, and Greyback got closer to the noise they were hearing and arrived at Seuss Landing. They landed on the west side of the island out of visible range from Alex and the flight vessel. Alex was busy reading a novelization of Ghostbusters.
Harry, Letty, and E.T. were checking out their new book. The Cat put an ink stamp on the back of the book—a logo for the library with him on it.
"The due date for this book is in two weeks," informed The Cat. "It must be in fine condition with no cracks or leaks."
"Thanks, Mr. The Hat," said Letty.
"You're welcome, Ms. Ortiz. I hope this book can help you with your goal, whatever it is." The trio stepped out of the library feeling slightly accomplished that they got what they needed. Hold the applause though, because another trio came walking into the street. Malfoy and his boys. Great, now I'm rhyming too. Harry and Draco locked eyes on each other. Harry began to sweat a little. Draco could finally torment Harry the way he wanted to without getting babysat at Hogwarts. He aimed his wand straight at Harry.
"Crucio!", shouted Draco.
Harry cast his counterspell.
"Expelliarmus!" The two spells locked into a long stream.
"Get rid of those two blokes with Potter!", Draco ordered Thorfin and Greyback. They walked briskly toward E.T. and Letty, their wands were drawn. All of a sudden, a mailbox struck the two Death Eaters. Letty was bewildered. She looked down and saw E.T. with a serious but daring expression.
"Did you do that?", she asked. E.T. smirked and nodded. The stream spell ended for Harry and Draco. The two began to block each other with spells, hitting one or two street lamps along the way. Citizens were screaming and running to take cover. Letty and E.T. started to run away from the library.
"Crucio!", shouted Greyback. E.T. and Letty stumbled to the ground and screamed in pain. E.T.'s scream sounded like a mixture of many animal screams but one from an otter was most prominent. Greyback laughed as he tortured them. Once he was done playing with his food, he was ready to exterminate them along with Thorfin behind him. Then, E.T. telekinetically lifted a pink truffula tree from nearby and smacked the two Death Eaters to the ground.
"Flippendo!", yelled Harry. Draco went flying back and hit a street lamp that broke his flight. He got up, looking furious and embarrassed. He turned to Thorfin and Greyback who were struggling to get up from the truffula tree.
"Come on, you two. Let's go," said Draco. "They're not worth it." Harry gave Draco a cold stare. The three Death Eaters flew off into the sky. On the stump where the truffula tree used to be, a short, orange, and roundish fuzzy being with a bushy, mustard-color mustache popped out.
"I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees. How dare you take this tree for your violent needs?" The citizens came out with vexed faces.
"What a catastrophe that's been caused by you three," said a fox wearing socks.
"Us three?", asked Letty.
"Yes," said The Cat coming out of the library. The two Things were cowering behind him. "You lead those villains here, giving this place a great deal of fear. This island is supposed to be a place of bliss, and because of this, you are now banned from Seuss Landing."
"Are you also the mayor of this place?", said Harry, confused.
"No," said The Cat. "He's on vacation right now, but I speak for him like how The Lorax speaks for the trees, so get out of here please." While saying that, The Cat gestured to The Lorax who gave a stern and quick nod.
"What about the due date for the book?", Letty asked.
"Keep it if you must, just don't come back. We have to recover now from this attack," said The Cat. "Go on your way because you have now ruined our day." The Cat crossed his arms and turned away from the trio. All the other citizens did the same. E.T., Letty, and Harry walked to the helicopter feeling humiliated. They got what they needed, but they didn't expect so much shame.
"Did you guys not find the info?", asked Alex.
"We got it," said Harry, showing him the book.
"Then why are you blushing?", said Alex.
"The locals didn't react well to us," said Letty.
"Well, it happens," said Alex. The helicopter lifted as they watched The Cat drive his large, red mobile cleaning machine that resembled a Vespa. Its six arms installed new street lamps and painted over some scorched walls.
