Chapter 9: The Battle For The AllSpark

The shuttle descended. Night began to crawl over the city. E.T. looked out from one of the small windows. He groaned in sadness as he saw the ruins of Lady Liberty and noticed some fires in the streets. The shuttle landed on Fifth Avenue.

"I'll go see if there's any people that need help," Letty informed the group. "You guys can...do what you can do to those Death Eaters and Decepticons." She got into her 1970 Plymouth Barracuda and revved up the engines as the ramp opened out.

"Let's roll out," said Optimus. He sped out of the shuttle with Letty behind him. Harry, E.T., and Banner walked out. The shuttle closes its ramp and moderately flew back to the flight vessel.

"Hold on, Harry," said Banner. "I have to hulk out. Say something that'll make me mad." Harry thought hard of a good roast.

"Um...say," Harry gave a hard pat on Banner's right shoulder and acted condescendingly cocky. "Whose hair did you use for your polyjuice potion? That person must've been extremely ugly....oh, wait."

"What's polyjuice potion?", asked Banner. Harry sighed. "Is it some sort of chemical reaction? Do you call chemistry 'potions' where you're from or is it..." Slap! Banner's glasses fell onto the ground and Harry stomped on them.

"Those PHDs mean nothing because you did all your research on the internet," taunted Harry. Banner's lips tightened and he clenched his fist. His heavy breathing turned into growling. Harry and E.T. looked wide-eyed at Banner and then at each other. It was time for them to leave. The two mounted on the Firebolt and flew away before Banner's skin turned green and his muscles bulged. His shirt was ripped apart.

"BANNER DO HIS OWN WORK! HULK SMASH!" The Hulk pounded the ground and ran to kick some dark wizard ass. All the Death Eaters and Decepticons heard the cacophony of engines and roaring. They stopped what they were doing and went after the noises. All except Draco who was standing on top of the Empire State Building with the AllSpark in its container. Letty saw two black clouds flying toward her and Optimus.

"I think we got their attention," muttered Letty. Optimus leaped up with his legs and transformed the rest of himself in mid-air. He punched Alecto to the left and she smacked into a wall and landed on the ground with minor injuries. Before he could even touch the ground, Optimus was back in his truck form. Amycus didn't bother to notice that his sister was hurt. There were intruders in their operation and he had to get rid of them. He turned around once he passed Letty and chased after her. She kept shifting left to right as Amycus tried to blast her car. Letty got out her gun and shot at Amycus three times. He went down and crashed into a bus stop. As Letty put her gun back on the passenger seat, she forgot one thing: what was in front of her.

"Oh shit!", she yelled as she narrowly missed a wall. She took a sharp right turn and her car skidded around in two circles. The car stopped spinning and Spider-Man jumped onto the hood. Letty gave out a startled gasp and grabbed her gun. Spidey put his hands up.

"Woah, take it easy," he assured. "You shouldn't be out here. With those smoke heads and giant action figures on the loose, this could be the most dangerous night of my life," he pointed to himself with his left thumb. "And yours." He pointed to Letty.

"Listen," said Letty. "I have some friends here who are trying to stop these guys and I am too."

"I am too," said Spidey. "But you probably already know that. Be careful." Spidey web-grabbed the top edge of a nearby building. "Nice car." He leaped off the car and swung away. Letty drove east. A full moon appeared from behind the clouds. While Spidey was swinging away, he heard yelling. He thought it was a distressed civilian. He heard the noise coming from Times Square. The place was deserted. Spidey jumped onto a concession stand and saw a lone figure. It was Greyback. His body began to stretch and his robes were ripping off. His face curved and form a snout. His screaming turned into howling. Greyback was a different kind of Death Eater. A werewolf Death Eater. He had been one all his life. In his free time, he would attack towns in England and devour their children. Spider-Man was disturbed, but he tried to joke to himself to cover it up.
