Author's Note:
IMPORTANT (DO NOT SKIP): I know I made a lot of people sad with last time's update. But it really had to go that way. Sometimes people face way too many hardships and that way relationships are tested. If the couple really loves one another deeply and truly it will show, as they will last no matter the hardships of life. They will face it, together. They will find a way out, together. A solution. Together.
There's also the thing that Minju hasn't trusted somebody this much before, she was pretty much a depressing person that barely fought for herself and what she wants. Chaewon came to her life, extended her hand for Minju to take and took her out of her black hole that she's been trapped for this long now. Chaewon did everything. Chaewon helped Minju. So Minju needs to learn to face things on her own as well as fully realize that she's not completely alone. She needs to learn to be fullt confident in herself and trust herself but also trust others and believe in them, believe that Chaewon will always he there for her and won't ever leave her just like how everyone else has done before.
There's also the saying "wrong place wrong time." Minju's accident was exactly that. She was at the wrong place, the wrong time. Nobody knows how things could have turned out if she hasn't entered her dad's car. But things turned out the way they did, and now Minju needs to face them the way they are. She can't change reality. She only needs to accept it, at her own pace and time, and move on with the new things she gots, the new situation she's in, the new information.
There's also the other saying I've seen somewhere and kept it in mind that says "when you reach the bottom of the darkness and your shadows have fully entangled you inside, choking you and suffocating you, when you think you've lost it all and there's just nothing left there, that life has already shown you no mercy and kept hitting you with more and more hardships, that there's always a thunderstorm and lighting but no sunny days... You have no way out. There's nothing bellow bottom either, so you only have one choice. You can only go up. Pick up your broken pieces and find through them the lost but stronger courage and confidence in you and keep going up, up until you reach the top and find happiness again."
Don't forget that Minju had a shitty family, and I wanted once again, and for the last time, to show how shitty and cruel they can be. They're not just imaginary people and their cruelty isn't out of this world. There are indeed cruel people out there, cruel and bad families that harm the family members. This isn't just a ff guys, it's a realistic storytelling based on actual facts out there that people face everyday. Some people have cruel families and suffer from that, some people have impaired legs and suffer from that, some people are deaf and suffer from that, some people are partially blind and suffer from that, some people have gotten way too many times heartbroken and can't trust people or love anymore, some people... There are just too many hardships out there to count them all, you got my point.
So yeah, maybe the previous chapter was like shit, but it's important and it's testing a lot of things from lots of characters and their relationships. Things will get better after all because I'm a 2kim shipper so I'm not going to end this ff badly don't worry at all. So without further ado, and with these all being said, enjoy today's chapter and don't cry too much. This is life. With its good and bad moments and memories that can only make us stronger.___
A letter. A letter is Minju's way of saying goodbye to her lovers. Even back when she's given Yujin one and was actually hoping Yujin would accept her love, she still had her own plans in mind. Even if Yujin wouldn't push her away, she had her own plans on leaving anyway. After all, it's Minju's way of facing her problems. Running away, leaving. And that's what she did back then. She wanted to leave because her love for Yujin was suffocating her.
This time however, it's not her suffocating love that urges her to scribble down her thoughts, feelings as well as her decision to leave. This time it's she, herself who's the problem. She doesn't want to be a burden on Chaewon so she decides that it's better if she leaves.
