Chapter 5

"Is it still overwhelming?" Chaewon asks Minju once they're left alone. Minju looks around her, thinking hard before replying as honest yet as kindly as possible. The room around her —Chaewon's bedroom— is six times bigger than Minju's living room —which is the biggest room her house back at her neighborhood has. It smells like Chaewon, which means an intense scent of a mixture of dark roses, vanilla and coconut. Now imagine Chaewon's smell all over her room... way too overwhelming for Minju's nostrils and not just her nostrils actually too overwhelming for all of her senses right. Luring too.

There's another thing that's overwhelming about Chaewon's bedroom. It's way too pretty and screams, literally, Kim Chaewon. The walls are painted in different shades of gray as one of them is painted in mint color. Chaewon's bed is a king sized one, extremely big in fact, comfortable, with lots of tiger pillows on it as it also has gray and mint covers. Above her bed, on the walls the bed is collided to, there are posters of different female models, all the photoshoots looking so pretty and well filmed. Chaewon's one of her two desks —yes she has two desks— is filled with her college stuff, books, notebooks and so on, all of them organized and tidy, while her second desk, which is a bit further, is filled with Chaewon's creative side. A lot of pictures hang around the desk, pictures of Chaewon and her sister, Chaewon and her friends, Chaewon and the dancing team or Chaewon dancing alone in dancing events, as well as Chaewon and her family and relatives. There are also lots of drawings, paintings, music albums, all of them perfectly categorized according to the different kinds of art on Chaewon's creative desk. There's Chaewon's closet at one of the walls as well as a big bookshelf filled with all kinds of books at another wall. Her room has everything Chaewon needs but at the same time it somehow is still kept in a minimal, simple, practical as well as modern way and lifestyle.

A bedroom indeed can tell a lot about somebody's personality, character as well as secrets Minju is sure of that by seeing Chaewon's bedroom. And not only her bedroom, she was earlier toured around the whole house, or at least to most parts of the huge villa house that Minju actually calls a palace. Yes. Chaewon and Yena's family is extremely rich. If she was one surprised and amused by Yuri's house... right now she's shocked and too overwhelmed to not be visible on her face. The house is extremely big, the decorations are extremely rich, there are huge gardens filled with all kind of entertainment as well as all different kinds of flowers, trees, there's even a swimming pool! Yena has showed her around earlier. There are lots of rooms inside the house as well. Kitchen, Dining room, living room, Waiting room, Event room, Meeting room, random halls and rooms that aren't use for literally anything, offices for her parents, library, restrooms, guests rooms, sauna room, pool room, dance practice room, piano room, gaming room —which is Yena's second room, Chaewon's second room is the dance practice room— and a lot more other rooms. Minju can't even remember. They didn't show her every single room of course, that would take too much time. Yena was extremely excited earlier to show Minju her second room in which she's always there because she loves gaming too much. Minju was in utter shock and in love as soon as she saw the gaming room. A game lover's wildest dream ever. That's what Yena's gaming room is. Still though, Minju can't believe that both girls have two or maybe three and more rooms each of them. That's...

"Yeah..." Minju mumbles softly as her fingers start playing with the hem of her hoodie. She indeed feels overwhelmed. She's left alone with Chaewon, Hyewon and Yena have gone to make some food while Yuri has gone to the restrooms. They are supposed to meet up to start working on a group project their chemistry professor has made them do. Yena suggested they should meet up at her and Chaewon's house, their parents are out for work as Yena has mentioned at some point earlier so... here they are now...

It's the first time Minju is here. And she's the only one who's here for the first time as well as the only one who feels this overwhelmed and shocked.

"Sorry. Sometimes big houses can be too overwhelming. I'm aware of that." Chaewon says as she turns her chair more, dragging the wheels of it slightly closer to Minju's spot —which is on Chaewon's bed.
