Chapter 6

"I hate her!" Yena groans and slams her hands angrily on the library's counter, making a loud thud being heard around the place. Minju flinches visibly before she raises her head from looking at the computer to face Yena instead. And Chaewon and Yujin who are next to her. Oh.

"Can you at least be a bit quiet about it? I'm pretty sure everyone knows you hate her by now." Minju says, looking around at the library at any people possible in an apologetic look.

"Sorry. Is there anyone even though?"

"Thank you for disrespecting my workplace. What brings you here?" Minju says, not taking Yena's words seriously anyway. That's Yena. She knows that now. She pushes her index finger on her reading glasses, pushing them a bit higher on the bridge of her nose and that's when she notices the curious stare she's gotten from Chaewon.

"Yuri is annoying."

"Tell me something new." Minju says before she rolls her eyes and then looks back at her computer.

"Can you be more specific? Sorry I'm just extremely busy right now. There's... something I need to take care of here." Minju says, troubled and Yena nods her head, understanding.

"Sorry. It's just... I really needed to talk to you. Out of all people you hear me out the best."

"That's true." Yujin adds.

"You're a great listener." She says again and winks at Minju who tries her hardest to ignore the fluttering in her chest and overall her whole nervousness that she gets whenever Yujin winks at her. She can't believe this is happening. She's extremely busy with work yet again here she is getting all flustered and all! Unbelievable! Unacceptable!

"That's undoubtedly one of your talents." Chaewon adds, reminding Minju one of their previous talks about talents and all in Chaewon's dance practice room back at her villa-palace house.

"So? Before you all started complimenting me about my ears —which by the way thank you very much but I already thought that I'm getting deaf at some point— Yena you wanted to tell me something so... you better start talking or else I'll just let you guys sit nearby. Sorry I just... really have a lot of work to do today."

"Not a good day?" Yujin asks.

"Yeah." Minju mumbles shortly, sparing her a glance before looking back at Yena.

"She just... I feel like she's playing with me lately. She keeps teasing me and being so mean to me! Have I done something wrong to her? I even tried ignoring her but she just won't stop! What's her problem!?" Minju hums slowly, having the exact same questions.

"I'm sorry I don't know what's going on in Yuri's head, and can't answer your questions. You can go ask Yuri herself though." Yena groans and rolls her eyes.

"I'm not going to do that!"

"Why not?"

"It's stupid! And embarrassing! She will just laugh at me and make fun of me!"

"You know what? She makes fun of you of whatever you do so you shouldn't care about that. Just make things clear between you two. Just like how you should make things clear for yourself too. It's not only Yuri's fault. You have a part in this too and you need to figure out what's your own problem in this whole situation. I would love to help you figure it out, moreover hear you out but right now I'm at work, and I'm working really hard right now to fix a mistake I made earlier." Minju says before she takes a deep breath.

"You should give yourself a break. Some time to think. Maybe she needs herself a break too. Actually, you know what? If people gave themselves more time for themselves things would have been better. And that applies to me too, as well as you too, An Yujin." Minju says before she points her pen in Yujin's direction making Yujin point at herself with her index finger surprised.
