*Chapter 3*

BOOM!

Dawn greeted us as another explosion was set off and all four of us turned and looked at the Sand Village, only to see two Akatuski members leaving the main entrance with the motionless Kazekage.

"Kivi nee-sama, what shall we do now?" Hikaru near shouted as Hikari stared at the Kazekage with a worried look on her face. I glanced at Takahara and he nodded. "For now, let's follow them. We'll think of a plan before facing them." I ordered and gained everyone's approval before we set off.

The two Akatsuki members are walking. I repeat, walking towards wherever they are going. "They are not even in a hurry!" Hikaru hissed. "We should attack them now." Takahara punched him at the back of the head, "We know what the blonde guy can do and he took out the Kazekage. Don't underestimate them, baka." Hikari turned around and looked at us. "But we can't just wait here!" She complained. Takahara and I were a little bit stunned by Hikari's sudden reaction. She was always cool and calm like a cat.

"I'm not saying we should wait here." Takahara shot back. "Kivi nee-sama." Hikaru looked at me with a pain look on his face. "We know how it feels like to be a Jinchuuriki. We were judged and treated like we are monsters. I'm sure that Kazekage felt the same." I sighed and continued to look down at the hunchback from the low mountain cliff. They're just like you, Sasori.

I looked up to meet Hikaru's eyes. "I understand, Hikaru. We'll get him."

Takahara patted my back and I turned my attention to him. He pointed his chin at a direction and all of us looked at what he was pointing at. Not far away, the purple facial markings shinobi that we saw through the crystals were running towards the Akatsuki members.

The four of us halted as the purple markings guy started a fight with them. He immediately summoned three puppets out of his scrolls. "Ohhh~A puppet user." I heard Takahara murmured behind me. "Kivi nee-sama, the blonde guy is leaving!" Hikaru shouted. The purple markings shinobi try to stop him but was held back by the hunchback's tail again and again.

The two akatsuki members said something to each other before the blonde started to leave. "Kivi nee-sama!" "Kivi-nee!" I placed my hand in front of the twins to stop them. "Don't follow him, Hikaru, Hikari." The twins bit their lower lips in anger.

I tried to come out with ways to pursue both Akatsuki members but right now, I can't afford the twins to be seen by them. In the midst of planning, I felt a warm hand on my shoulder. I turned to look at the owner of the hand, it was Takahara's.

"Kivi, I'll tail the blonde guy." He turned to the twins. "And I'll bring the Kazekage back. I won't let the Akatsuki kill him." The twins smiled at him and nodded. "Thank you, Taka-nii." Both of them said in unison. Takahara nodded at them before turning to look at me. "Takahara," my voice was filled with worries as I looked up at him. "Come back safely." As usual, he surprised me by giving me a quick peck on the lips. "I will. Promise." He patted my hair before running off to the direction that the blonde guy went.

For some strange reasons, my heart suddenly felt heavy and a frown formed subconsciously on my lips. Takahara, please come back to me safely. After Takahara's back disappeared, the twins and I looked back at the fight occurring before us.

The twins and I watched with intensity at the fight. The purple markings ninja was strong but I can tell, if the hunchback is Sasori, he stands no chance against him.
