🌹Katherine's POV🌹

Holy cow!

I kept on staring at my now completely healed finger.

It was weird.

"Soooooooo the cure thing is true." I asked still staring at my finger.

"It's not just a 'thing'." Adam said making a hurt face.

"You are very demotivating by the way." Jordan said crossing his arms above his chest and raising his eyebrow at me.

"Hehe wooooowwwww guys that's so cool, woohoo!" I said rolling my eyes while they chuckled.

"So licking the wound cures it?" I asked flinching my nose. That's disgusting!

"Yup it's the saliva, but there's a limit, like it depends on the wound. Simple wounds can be healed but not bullet wounds or something severe like that." Jake said stepping forward.

"Will it..." My voice went low and I touched my cheek. Can they cure these bruises that the king gave me? I kept on looking down in shame I shouldn't have asked that. Jake sighed and held my chin making me look up. There was pity in his eyes.

Great just what I wanted!!!! (note the sarcasm)

"Sorry Kat we can't cure bruises, just wounds." He said softly and I nodded. The room was filled with silence for a while. My stomach was churning. The memories of last night haunting me.

I was hurt , not just physically but emotionally.

"So there's speed?" I asked trying to change the topic. They all nodded but didn't say anything and looked seriously at me. I just didn't want to talk about it. I don't want to think or fight about it.

"Kat?" Jordan said softly coming towards me.

"Hmm?" Is all I replied lost in my thoughts.

"What did he do this time?" This question made my eyes water. He is so interested in that isn't he?

"What do you think?" I said bluntly looking up at him. He sighed and sat down besides me.
