~Day One~

Vinnie didn't get a wink of sleep. A day had passed since she was visited by Shigaraki. His voice rang her head. "Don't you want more than this? Don't you want to get rid of this hell hole of a world we live in?" The truth was she did. But did she really want to do it with a bunch of people she didn't know? And how could she know if she really would get what she wanted? There were so many factors that were left unknown, too many for her to make a decision.

She walked around the city to clear her head. It seemed especially sunny today. Whatever storm that was passing through a few days ago seemed to have cleared up. The sun blinded her eyes, and looking at the ground didn't help since the concrete was just as bright.

The ground began to shake. A bunch of emergency vehicles passed by in the opposite direction Vinnie was walking. Probably another villain causing trouble. He couldn't have taken a more quieter approach? She rolled her eyes at all the chaos.

A green haired kid with freckles bumped into Vinnie feeding her frustration.

"Agh! Sorry, miss!"

He ran off towards the scene with a notebook in hand. Vinnie scoffed and kept walking.

~Day Two~

Another sleepless night. Maybe I should save up for some sleep pills. Today was the second day. Two days he said. Two days before Vinnie had to tell Shigaraki if she'd be joining the League of Villains.

She picked up the slip of paper with the address Shigaraki had given her and let out a sigh. Joining the league could help her financially. She plopped down on her rickety bed. Plus, if they want her to join so bad then they surly wouldn't mind giving her a better place to stay. But then again, that is if they wanted her as much as she thinks. She laid there for a minute weighing all the pros and cons, but they came out to be pretty even.

Vinnie groaned out in frustration. She looked around at the grimy walls and floor. Some parts were broken down a bit or chipping off. The bathroom had rust and often lacked warm water. Her eyes then drifted to her hoodie laying beside her.

"Fuck it."

She grabbed her hoodie, filled a bag with a few items, including her box of money, and the slip of paper, and bolted out the door leaving the keys on the bedside table.
