Vinnie walked into the bar area already dressed and ready for the day. Kurogiri was fixing up the bar.
"Oh, you're awake. Can I get you anything?"
"Orange juice and vodka?"
He gave her the same look he gave her last night. She rolled her eyes at him again.
"Fine. Just the orange juice.."
He turned and grabbed the OJ out of the mini fridge, pouring her a glass.
"You do know it's illegal for you to drink at your age. Did you want ice with that?"
"So? You guys are villains. And, yes on the ice."
He placed the cold glass in front of her.
"True. But we'd still rather not have you wasted during your missions."
She scoffed and took a sip.
"I could just use my quirk to get you to give me some."
"You could..."
He turned and put the juice away before continuing.
"However, that would require you to touch me with your strings, and I could easily just teleport them away."
She huffed and decided she'd just have to deal with her non alcoholic beverages for now. A few moments later Shigaraki came into the room looking his usuall dry self.
"Good to know I don't have to wake you up, Vinnie."
"Uh huh. So what is this plan of yours to round up the 'Wild Card?'"
~Later that day~
Vinnie sat on the outdoor table of the cafe Yasekodo has her afternoon coffee. Phase one of their plan was in session. God this plan is so stupid. She was supposed to act as a fan of hers and ask to walk with her to her studio. She drank the coffee she bought and looked around for the target. Like she'd just let some random fan walk into her studio. Her eyes wandered until she spotted the electric blue hair and colorful clothing. Yup. Defenitely a wild card. Alright, now, time to get into character. She approched the lady with amazed eyes and an exaggerated expression.
"Oh my god! Aren't you Wild Card?! My name's Vinnie, I'm a huge fan!"
No I'm not. She stuck her hand out at the lady, offering a handshake. Yasekodo looked at Vinnie up and down before taking her hand. She wanted to just activate her quirk then to get things done and over with. Not yet..
"Oh, what a cute name. It's so nice to meet you, Vinnie. I'm always happy to see how excited my fans get when I meet them."
Ugh. Vinnie let go of her hand and fumbled with her fingers to make her seem more excited.
"T-thanks, Miss Wild Card."
She gave Vinnie a smile.
"Tell you what, Vinnie. How about you come with me to my studio?"
Vinnie pretended to beam up at her, mustering up as much fake excitement as she can.
"Really?!"
This bitch is really gonna let a fan into her studio? Yasekodo gave her a wink.
"Mhm. Just follow me, ok?"
"Ok!"
Vinnie began to follow her, quickly glancing in the direction Shigaraki was watching from and giving him a nod. Time for phase two. This mission might be easier than I thought. They continued walking for a couple blocks, making some small talk on the way. They began passing an alleyway when Shigaraki jumped out, grabbed Vinnie, and ran. She let out a fake cry for help.
"Why the fuck are you so heavy?"
"Why the fuck are you so weak?"
They turned the corner and Shigaraki put her down a little harder than planned.
"Bitch."
"Shut up and stick to the plan!"
"Yea, yea, I know."
She went back to pretending to be scared and helpless. As hoped, Yasekodo came around the corner and followed her. Also as hoped, she used her quirk to make Shigaraki see hallucinations and avoid seeing and hearing her or Vinnie. She ran up to Vinnie and asked if she was alright, being just the right distance for her to sneak her strings.
"Yea.. I'm ok."
She sniffed and wiped her fake tears before looking into Yasekodo's eyes and activating the second stage of her quirk.
Wait. What the fuck?!
