The wind blew quietly while a girl made her way to a large building. The girl walked to the door and knocked. A boy with blonde hair and silver eyes answered the door. He looked at her in confusion
"Hello. I'm sorry.. But I don't think I know you."
The girl smiled at him and moved her light blonde hair out of her face
"We haven't met. My names Irina. Im supposed to start living here today."
The boy thought for a minute.
"oh! I remember now. My apologies. Miss Evina told us that a new person would start living here soon. Welcome. Please do come in. I'll take you to the others."
Irina smiled and followed him into the building. She looked around as she followed him through the hallways and public areas
"this is a large building. It seems just like a school building."
The boy looked at her over his shoulder
"This building is actually modeled after a schools dorm building. Currently, including you, we have seven people living here. Thats including our caretaker Miss Evina."
Irina looked at the boy in shock
"Only six people? But this building is so large. I'm sure it could hold many more people."
The boy laughed a bit
"Yes. That's true. This building could hold many more people.. But.. There just aren't many people who can live here.. I'm sure you understand what I mean since you are about to start living here"
Irina nodded
"yes.. I suppose I can understand when I think about it."
They continued walking and soon entered a room with six other people. Five of the people were teenagers like Irina and the boy who had greeted her when she arrived. The sixth person was an older women. The women looked at them as they entered the room
"Ah. Gabriel, thank you for escorting Irina here."
The women stood up and walked closer to them
"Its nice to meet you Irina. I'm the caretaker of this building. My name is Evina. And these children all live here. I hope you will get along with all of them"
Irina smiled
"Thank you Miss Evina."
She turned towards the other teenagers
"Its nice to meet all of you. My name is Irina and I will be living here starting today"
The teenagers all smiled but it stayed quiet for a couple minutes as if they all were thinking about what to do next. Soon one of the teenagers; a girl with bright red hair stood up
"My name is Cenera. Its nice to meet you as well Irina."
A girl with brown hair was the next to speak
"My name is Alexis its nice to meet you"
Next to speak was a boy with brown hair
"My names Shiki. Nice to meet you"
A boy with black hair spoke next
"My name is Lucian. Its nice to meet you."
The last to speak was a girl with black hair
"My name is Mayumi. Its nice to meet you Irina. I hope you will like it here"
Irina smiled at them all
"You're all so kind.. But I do have one question.."
Gabriel looked at her
"is something wrong?"
Irina looked over at Gabriel
"Well.. Not really.. Its just that.. Theres one less person than you said there is living here.."
Mayumi sighed
"Yeah.. The last person that lives here is out doing jobs for money. His name is Raziel. He's my brother.."
Irina smiled
"I see.. Does he leave to do stuff like that a lot?"
Cenera sighed
"not a lot. But.. When he does he normally comes back in just a couple hours. You'll probably meet him by the end of the day."
Irina nodded
"alright. Thak you for telling me and giving me such a warm welcome."
A phone began ringing in the back of the room and Shiki walked over to answer it. Shiki dropped the phone and turned quickly to the others
"Guys! We have a problem! It looks like there's a bunch of fallen angels that are about to attack us!"
Irina stared at everyone in shock and Gabriel turned to look at her
"Things like this don't happen often but when we get calls like that its best to believe they're true."
As soon as Gabriel finished speaking there was an explosion from the side of the building and a group of fallen angels that were flying next to the building showed themselves. Gabriel pulled two swords out from the closet and threw one to Shiki. Shiki took the sword and ran out of the room with Lucian. Irina stood there in shock and confusion as a large portion of the fallen angels flew after Shiki and Lucian. She turned to the other girls
"W-what is going on?"
Cenera looked at Irina
"Sorry that this happened right after you got here. But fallen angels aren't exactly the nicest group of people."
Gabriel fought most of the fallen angels off with his sword and just when the girls began to think the situation would be ok a fallen angel swooped down and picked up Mayumi and Irina before flying back up high into the air. Irina and Mayumi struggled but couldn't get free of the angels grip. Then there was a loud high pitch scream and Irina realized she and Mayumi were being held by a different person. Irina looked up to see who was holding her and saw a teenage boy with silver hair and gold eyes. Irina stared at him and then realized they were falling and Mayumi yelled
"Brother, you're back!"
Irina shut her eyes tight and waited to hit the ground. She waited for what seemed like forever before being gently dropped onto the ground. Irina opened her eyes and look at Mayumi who was sitting next to her on the ground and staring at the person she had called her brother. The angels leader screamed
"retreat now!"
The fallen angels all listed to their leader and retreated ad fast as they could. Mayumi looked at her brother
"Welcome back brother!"
The boy looked at Irina
"I don't believe we've met."
Irina shook her head
"No, we havent. My name is Irina. Its nice to meet you."
The boy looked at Irina for a moment
"My name is Raziel."
