Chapter 12:Road Trip

The trip was very...awkward to say the least.
"S-so! What are you guys excited about during this trip?"Tony chuckled nervously,
Everyone looked at each other,
But didn't say a word,the atmosphere had changed dramatically.

They never really wanted this road trip.
Natasha was already neck deep into paperwork and
Bruce was too busy with the new experiment he was testing,
The rest of them also had business that needed to be attended to.

Meanwhile,Loki sat..without saying a word...
What was on his mind? No one ever knew.

"Uh..hey Loki! You alright back there?"Steve chuckled nervously,he desperately wanted to make the atmosphere lighter.
Loki stared at Steve and frowned.

Thor sighed and glanced towards his brother,
What was it that made him so mad?

Everyone soon gave up on the hope of making everything happier,and instead quickly fell asleep.(Except for Tony and Bruce of course,who chatted the whole trip there)

•Loki's P.O.V•

*Time skiip to 15 minutes of arriving in caamp~*

My eyebrow twitched ever so slightly..
Never had I been in a much more uncomfortable position in my life.

"So Lokii~! Who will it be huh? Surely its me right? Nothin like takin a good o'l hike with your good buddy Stark eh?"Tony smirked and held out his hand,
"No matter how much 'fun' that sounds Tony,Im afraid Loki would rather much enjoy helping me set up everything! Get some firewood..set up the tent..y'know? The good stuff so! What do you say Loki?"Steve smiled brightly,however painful it may be for me to say it..Steve's teeth were quite too blinding,tis frankly a major pain to look at especially in the cases of which we actually need to speak to one another.
"I think..Loki should decide who he wants to be with"Bruce spoke up,
Everybody's chatting soon came to a stop as they awaited for my response.

I gritted my teeth..
Just WHO do they think they are? Claiming me? MAKING me choose a person ? As if I ever wanted to be with ANY of them in the first place..
Oh heavens forbid for ME to actually be alone quietly by myself for even a second!

I smirked and folded my arms,
"Oh? How charming! Do you all honestly think that I am just a toy to be messed around with? I will not participate in your childish games! I actually applaud you all for even thinking that I would actually want,let alone consider,being around any of you for another second! Don't flatter yourselves" I scoffed and looked around to see their pursed lips,hah! Served them right.

"My answer is none..I don't want to speak to any of you or be grouped with any of you,
I did not want to be part of this 'camping extravaganza' in the beginning yet I was still forced to come,the least you could do is give me space?"
I rolled my eyes and began to walk around the campus,
I needed some alone time.

•Thor's P.O.V•

I gritted my teeth,I thought he would've gotten accustomed with us already..
"I'll go after him"Clint commented and went to go when I suddenly grabbed his arm,
"Let me"I smiled broadly and pulled Clint backwards.

Was it jealousy? Who knew..

I quickly chased after Loki,he wasnt at all very fast,
"Ahhh Brother,where are you off to in such a rush?"I asked as I quickly caught up and walked beside him.

"Tch...I was trying to get some time alone...I guess that's not really possible is it?"Loki hissed and kept on walking,
I smirked..how feisty.

I quickly grabbed onto Loki's hand and twirled him into my arms,
"Hm? You wanted to get away from me? Loki,my dear brother,your words are like venom,they pain me so"I pouted to which Loki rolled his eyes to,
"Ohh no Thor I'm not falling for that face of yours again!"Loki said bitterly whilst still avoiding my gaze.

I pulled Loki closer and nuzzled his nose,
"Is it that bad falling for this face of mine?"I whispered,
Loki chuckled softly and pecked my lips,
"Hmm..I guess it has its perks"
Loki pulled away and walked in front of me with big strides,
He stopped for a brief moment and turned back towards me with his hand outstretched.

"Wanna take a walk..brother?"Loki asked softly,he looked more relaxed than he was before.

I chuckled softly and grabbed Loki's hand gently,
"I thought you'd never really ask brother"

Loki held onto my hand firmly and slowed down to walk beside me,
We walked in silence,the kind that was comforting and relaxing..I was always relaxed when I was beside Loki..I never knew why.

"So,brother,where are we goi-"
I was quickly cut off by Loki,
"Shhh...come"He quickly hid behind a tree with me still behind him.

I looked at him with a confused gaze,he chuckled quietly and gestured for me to listen,
There was nothing but silence at first,suddenly the chirping came..then the water..

The harmony of sounds came from this forest,it sounded so united..so peaceful.
I glanced back at Loki and found him smiling softly at me,
"You can always hear the sounds of nature if you listen carefully,it sounds like a choir singing together so gracefully doesn't it?"He traced his finger on the barks of the tree,
"Mother..taught me to embrace nature and everything that was great and good with the world..."Loki's voice suddenly grew quiet.

My heart ached,I squeezed his hand firmly trying to give him reassurance,
"Loki..."

He sighed such a sad sigh,
"I don't understand Thor..Why I-..Why I push the people who love me away.."His voice sounded pained.
"Are you talking about Mother?"I asked carefully,he nodded his head slowly..he was always a Mother's boy.
I pulled Loki close and hugged him tightly,
"It's not your fault Loki..you've had it ha-"
Loki quickly pulled away,his eyes filled with tears already.
"Thor I don't know who I am anymore.."He paused,
"WHO AM I THOR?! WHAT AM I?! WHAT DO I EVEN CALL MYSELF?!" Tears streamed down Loki's face,he looked so pale..so broken,
"L-Loki...."I didnt know what to say..
Loki laughed painfully,"Of course you wouldn't know Thor ODINSON,Soon-to-be King of Asgard! You don't even know what to say! Don't force yourself now"He quickly teleported away before I could react..

What do I do? I couldn't even say anything to reassure my brother..
I bit my lip and punched the tree,
"Hah...I'm so pathetic..."

Indeed Thor indeed ;_; I'm also very pathetic ..I'm so sorry guys for not updating for so damn long!!! I dont understand what I'm doing :( BUTT I will make a vow! I WILL finish this fanfic no matter what!!
Thank you guys for being so patient ..I can't thank y'all enough for even reading my story! EVEN VOTING FOR IT THATS CRAZY MAN :0 But in all seriousness I will get more serious about this story and will update as fast as I can! Until then..please bear with me still!
