There was an aggravating buzzing in his ears, one that wouldn't seem to go away.

He groaned, visibly squeezing his eyes tightly as an attempt to drown out the ringing. His body felt like lead, it was heavy and had required energy to move. Hell, it was even difficult to open his eyes.

But somehow, he forced his body to comply as he sat up, first blinking away the blurriness that his eyes had come to. With each passing minute, his vision cleared, allowing him to scan his surroundings.

They were at Yoongi's lodge, that's for sure.

The familiarity of the air and the interior hit him, even though he had visited the inside only once. His thoughts then spiked about Yunhee, causing him to actually turn his head to see her on a cot, face flushed as if she had a fever.

"Princess-"

He started to move, but immense discomfort decided to strike as his arm reached forward, a burning sensation appeared in his chest like he was stabbed all over again. He sagged against whatever cot he was lying down on, gasping as air forced its way into his lungs. He felt like he was sucker punched to the gut by a bear, which wasn't a pleasant thing to begin with.

He blinked the tears away, only focusing on one person, hoping that she'll wake up soon.

"You're awake," a voice made him almost snap his neck. He saw Yoongi calmly walking towards him with two cups, one with steam rising out of it while the other appeared cold, "How do you feel?"

"Like I can walk a fucking marathon," he replied sarcastically, rolling his eyes. Yoongi only hummed, before he helped him sit up, placing a cup in his hands. "Drink," he ordered, "It'll help you retain your strength and probably get Yunhee out of that coma if she can suffer from less pain."

"C-Coma?" He only gaped at him.

"It's been five days since you brought her...Hoseok," Yoongi glanced at Yunhee, grabbing the other teacup and walking over to her, "So of course she's in a coma. A short one if you recover soon."

"How did you find out my name-"

"I've done my research about you, Son of Lucifer," Yoongi smiled smugly at him.

"But...why? Why are you helping me?" He pointed to himself, "All I have ever done was cause 'chaos' and 'trouble' wherever I go. You should have just left me to die." "Firstly, if I let you die, then Yunhee would be in a rather long coma. You know the old story of Sleeping Beauty? That but a century longer," Yoongi pointed out, "Secondly, Yunhee will have my head if I let you die. But...in truth, maybe the bond is affecting me too, powerful person to powerful person, y'know? I wouldn't have let you kick the bucket to begin with."

The demon could only nod, even though he was confused by the response.

"Today would have made a month that you were summoned at," Yoongi said out of the blue, looking at Yunhee with a small smile on his lips, drinking his tea. "A-Already?" Hoseok could only raise his eyebrows.

"Drink your tea before it gets cold," Yoongi distracted him.

"Oh, right."

His hands shook as he lifted the cup to his face and took a sip. The temperature was lukewarm, but the taste wasn't half bad, yet it wasn't something he was accustomed to. He had finished drinking it nonetheless.

"Yunhee's powers are becoming corrupted," Yoongi finally spoke after a few minutes of silence. "I had an itching feeling that it was that," Hoseok sighed, giving Yoongi back the porcelain, "It's because of me, isn't it? My demonic side is tainting her magic." "I don't really think it is because of you," Yoongi stared at him dead in the eye, "Demonic summoning doesn't normally do that. I should know.''
