Soon it was already the end of the first week and they had to leave. Yunhee had spent the week getting to know the people, sledding, ice skating and doing other fun activities to build memories.
She waved to the small crowd assembled at the dock to see them off, casting a happy but sad smile at them before they disappeared into the fog that had now decided to mask them.
"That's one kingdom off my bucket list," she noted, "Now it's off to see Lord Hongjoong!" "You are way too enthusiastic with this," Jungkook noted, leaning against the main mast. "It's Hoseok and Yoongi's fault," she shrugged, "I'm just in support of their idea of travelling."
"Yeah, sure," he snorted, taking off his outer layer of clothes once they had crossed the border and the warm air had seeped back into her. She took off her coat as well, folding it neatly and retired to the bunks on the lower deck to place it in an extra suitcase she had brought along for souvenirs, returning the other items into their respected boxes, also placing them into the suitcase.
She then decided to read up on the guide about Halazia that Hongjoong had also sent with the ship, but she didn't bother to read it until now, seeing as she literally had nothing else to do.
It was about 12 pages long, word count she couldn't tell. About 9000-10000 words, maybe more.
She spent her time educating herself about their ways and rules.
Apparently, the Dynasty was known for its beautiful night skies, breathtaking beaches and Blackwood, a rare type of wood used for the construction of ships and other things.
The title of 'Lord' has been passed down through generations of the Kim clan, now with Hongjoong as its current leader. The Dynasty seemed to have a deep connection with the sea, hence the reason why they have a numerous amount of ports.
That was all the guide had given her, as well as a really long history that took up about half the number of pages, which she had read and memorized to not offend possibly anyone. At the end of her time reading, she had felt more exhausted than she did in weeks, which was a surprise, considering the fact that she loves to read.
She placed the book under the bed, shifting her position so she's facing the ceiling then closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep almost instantly.
She dreamt herself flying above the clouds with her wings, free from any responsibility, it was just her and the vast sky in front of her. She dove through clouds, hid in them, hell, she even sat on them, feeling the soft, cushion texture that brought a little smile to her face, which didn't go unnoticed by Hoseok as he came in to check in on her.
His eyes crinkled a little at the sight, his legs moved until he was sitting on the bed to take off his shoes, laying back so he could pull her close to him, then fell asleep not long after.
Jungkook and Yoongi came in to take a nap after training almost two hours later, seeing the two already in Dreamland. The sight was so endearing to them, Yoongi took a mental picture, wanting to have possible blackmail against the two for his own purpose.
"Y-Yoongi-Hyung," he directed his attention to the other, who was watching them with a glint in his eyes, "C-Can we c-cuddle?" Yoongi couldn't help but snort. "Aren't you a little too old for cuddles, Jungkook?" The elder raised an eyebrow at that statement, internally cooing at Jungkook's baby expression.
"I'm never too old for cuddles, Hyung," Jungkook pouted, folding his arms, "And besides, you and Yunhee-Noona give the best." "Fine," the elder heaved a sigh and caved in, "You're too cute for this world, Kook." The knight hummed as a reply when he sat down to take off his own shoes, the mage doing the same.
