"...Hellboy?"
"Princess..." He looked down at her, smiling lightly when he saw her half lidded eyes staring back at him. "Wh...Where are we?" She croaked, starting to get up. "No, no. Lie down. You need to rest," he appeared in front of her, pushing her back down, "But to answer your question, we're at Yoongi's lodge."
"How did we get here? What's happening?" Her eyes widened even more, despite his warning she sat up. "What do you remember?" He asked her. "Not much...Just the bastard who tried to kill you saying he was my long lost brother and...he had shown me a picture of me as a baby," she knitted her eyebrows together.
"Yoongi, she's awake!" He called.
"W-What's happening?" She asked again, looking around in a panic. "It's nothing really,'' Hoseok lied through his teeth, "Yoongi told me to check up on you and alert him when you wake up."
"Oh, thank god you're not in a coma," Yoongi appeared out of nowhere almost ten seconds later, restraining himself from hugging her, "I need you to do something for me, okay?"
"Which is...?"
"Uhhh, stand in a chalk circle, i-if you can, that is."
"Why do I need to stand in a chalk circle? And, now?" She raised an eyebrow, tilting her head to the side slightly. Yoongi regarded her for a count of ten before ordering, "Hoseok, drag her ass off the bed please, I have other shit to do."
"Hoseok-?" Her eyes widened as Hoseok grabbed her legs and literally pulled her off the bed then flung her over his shoulders like a sack of potatoes.
"That story will be for another time," he gently smacked her on the ass, "Now we have to figure out what the fuck is wrong with you." "My mother asks that question on a daily basis and even I don't know," Yunhee propped her head on her elbow with a smug expression.
"Well, we're going to know today," she blinked and saw the shift from the interior to the basement of the lodge, where brown wood was replaced with darker shades of brown as far as her eyes would let her see.
She slid off his back with ease, yet her legs quivered from disuse. The demon only guided her towards the chalk circle, standing clear of it as her feet passed the marking on the floor.
"What do I have to do?" Hoseok eagerly peeked up. Yoongi read over his notes while readying himself to do the unthinkable. "I'll need a drop of demon blood to activate it," Yoongi looked at him, "It has to be from a fully blooded one." "Well, I am a purebred," Hoseok pointed to himself, "Just tell me when."
Yoongi double checked to make sure everything was in place. Nothing could go wrong, nothing must go wrong. Taking a deep breath, he snapped his fingers. Instantly, the room was shrouded in darkness. Candles appeared on the chalk circle, lighting one at a time.
He locked eyes with Hoseok, giving him a curt nod, signalling him to commence.
Without hesitation, he grew a sharp nail and slit the palm of his hand, walking up to the circle and allowed three drops to fall as an extra measure. As soon as the last drop made contact with the wood, a red, luminescent, bubble-like structure formed around Yunhee, trapping her inside.
She knocked against the bubble, the clear ring of glass echoed in his ears as she looked at him, confused. Hoseok forced himself to stay in his current position, ready to run at Yoongi whenever his exhaustion decides to take over and disrupt the incantation.
He must fight the puppy eye look she was giving him.
Taking a deep breath, Yoongi started incanting as a grey aura wrapped around him, amplifying his voice. Hoseok listened in, quite impressed with his *Backwardish. Yunhee had started looking more affrighted by the second, backing away.
