Chapter Six- Like? Or love.

Your words stung. Not just your group but you too. Just as you, Sabito and Makomo left the cafeteria, you broke down crying. Makomo hugged you and told you that you said what you had too. Sabito supported her words as he nodded to what Makomo said. Both of them comforted you as you walked towards your locker. You still had a few more classes till you had to go home. 

As you wiped your eyes and took out your English book. You had English with Makomo so you both said bye to Sabito and walked towards your class. You sat beside Makomo as the other students entered. Makomo held your hand knowing you wanted comfort. You thanked her as you layed your head against her shoulder, silent tears running down your cheek.

About two months later......

You, Makomo and Sabito were now best buddies. You loved how the two were. And you knew they both liked eachother. You had swore to yourself to make them a couple before this year was over. 

It was your last class of the day, History. You sat beside Sabito as he scribbled on your notebook. You didn't mind though, you were more focused on something else. Mr.Rengoku was telling your class about a partner project.

"It will be FUN anddd EDUCATIONAL! So I will now read the partners. First up..................." Mr. Rengoku said as he started to read our the names from a notebook. Everyone got up to go sit beside their partner. "And lastly........ Muichiro and Y/n!" Mr. Rengoku said with a big smile. Your jaw dropped as Sabito looked at you with sympathetic eyes. You gulped as Muichiro came and stood beside your seat. 

You both looked at eachother for a while before you looked away. You hadn't talked to Muichiro for months. You missed your best friend but you didn't think he felt the same. "Mr. Rengoku! Can I switch partners? Maybe with Y/n! Cause you see-" E/n asked loudly from her seat in the back of the classroom. She and some other boy were sitting together. Mr. Rengoku interrupted her and said, "No you can't Miss E/n! You will have to work with the partners you have! So have fun!" 

E/n fumed as she glared at you. 'If looks could kill..' You thought rolling your eyes a bit. Muichiro cleared his throat as he tried to gain your attention. "Um N/n- .. I- I mean... Y/n... Can I um sit there..." Muichiro asked stuttering a bit. You looked at him, surprised that he was even talking to you. You nodded as he quickly sat down. 

Mr. Rengoku spent the rest of the class explaining on how to do and present the project. You took notes while Muichiro marked stuff in the textbook. Your heart beated fast as you and Muichiro's hands brushed against eachother from time to time. 

"And that's all! You will submit this project by the end of this month! There will be no excuses! You are dismissed! Have an amazing day!" Mr. Rengoku said before waving your class off.

You stood up quickly and started to pack your bags and run. But Muichiro caught you off hand and asked, "Hey.. Where do you want to do the project? Your house or mine?" Muichiro looked at you intently waiting for your reply. You stuttered a bit before saying, "Um... I don't know... Anywhere is fine." You said as you put away your highlighters in your pouch. You didn't want to meet Muichiro's gaze at you but you couldn't help it. You looked into his eyes as he looked at you. 

"My house is fine.. You can come over today if you want. We can get started..." Muichiro replied to you as he helped you get your notebooks. You looked down, sadness overwhelming you. You missed his voice so much it hurt. And hearing it now just hurt more. You looked up with glossy eyes. "Yuichiro won't let me in.." you said with a sad smile. Muichiro's eyes widened before he quickly replied. "No... I mean.. He would.... But I'll talk to him I guess.. Please come Y/n..." He said, hope lacing his words.
