Hanahaki disease;
The flowers of death
It's over before it even begins.
Before it's even known
Before you even get close
The pain of losing someone
Yet you never had them
The pain of loving someone
Yet they would never give it back
The way your eyes sparkled
When you saw her
The way your smile stretched
When you listened to her
The way your laugh echoed
When talked to her
Her
Her
Her
It was all because of her
It hurt knowing that i would never be the reason
The reason for all your laughter
But I never wanted to tell you
'Cuz I never wanted to let go
My love for you was unconditional
So just seeing you smile was enough
So I was going to hold on
Despite knowing that I was being wronged
The reality was painfully obvious
I knew exactly how everything would end
I knew that I was simply fighting a losing war
I knew how I could save myself
I knew
I knew
...
I knew but I only waited
Waited for the death that was to come
As time went by
The pile of death only grew
The flowers that represented
Death,
Love,
Stubbornness,
Reluctance;
My entire life.
Hanahaki disease;
The flowers of death
My stupid love which stained the bathroom floor
All petals and gore
The mountain of death which gradually built up
Burying my smiling corpse
