The Other Side | Minsung

The lies hidden beneath

"Have you..what was it again..got the devil nose on Jisung yet" Hyunjin asked.
"Gods eye Hyunjin get it right" Seungmin said typing on his laptop.
"Whatever" Hyunjin grumbled.

Minho sat on the other side of the room with his head laid on top of his hands as he watched Seungmin for the past 20 minutes try and find Jisungs location. He had started with the traffic cameras until he had managed to spot him in the rain. That was 10 minutes ago and now he was using the cameras to follow the car Jisung had gotten in to follow the route.
"Are you nearly done?" Jeongin asked making himself a drink of water to keep his nerves down.
"Close. Depends on how far the car is going" Seungmin didn't look up from the laptop.

Another batch of time passes until Seungmin finally cracks it.
"Here. I've tracked the car up until the last security camera. From satellites it shows there is only one building in that area. It's secluded and hard to get to and seems to be an an old military building layout" Seungmin gave a quick overview.
"Perfect we know where Jisung is let's go" Minho stood up but Chan grabbed him and pushed him back down.
"No. Minho I know you are worried, we all are but barging in there with no plan will get you killed" Chan said.
"That's a risk I'm willing to take" Minho tried to stand up again.
"You could get Jisung killed" Chan said.
Minho stopped and sat down again in silence.

Seungmin passed the laptop to Chan who checked it while Minho looked over his shoulder. Seungmin had managed to get up the base schematics but only the layout and the amount of guards on patrol.
"It's impossible to get in there undetected" Seungmin said.
"That's fine. We just need to get Jisung out. We don't need to be stealthy" Minho said "we just need to barge through the entrance and kill anyone who gets in the way".
"That's a bad plan. Also what if Jisung doesn't want to come back"'Felix said what everyone was thinking.
"He will. We will tell him the truth"'Minho said back straight away.
The gang looked at each other as Minho kept himself on the defensive.

"Well we still have daylight hours so best to make a plan now and get in as soon as possible. The best time to attack will be in the dark and I doubt Minho is patient enough to wait until tomorrow night to get Jisung. If we don't go tonight he will go by himself and we all know that"'Changbin said.
"He's not wrong" Minho said as he snatched the laptop from Chan and began to get a better look.
"I guess I'm not getting an afternoon nap then" Felix sighed.
"Cheer up Chick you can sleep later" Hyunjin said giving him a kiss on the side of his forehead.

Jisung dragged his feet unwillingly back to the room his parents were in. He sighed as he got to the door and went to open it but heard voices and decided to stay and listen for a moment.
"He clearly still feels awkward around us" Blake said.
"No he's uncomfortable around you. How did you get him here?" His mum asked.
Jisung put his ear to the door to try and hear better.

"It doesn't matter" Blake said.
"Yes it does. The second he came back here he looks down and upset" the mum said.
"I told you it doesn't matter" Blake said a bit more forceful.
"And I told you when this whole thing started Jisung should have the right to choose. What was on that flash drive, what did you show him?" Jisung heard his mum speak as a sound of a chair crashing was heard from behind the door.
"I didn't show him anything. He found that flash drive all on his own" Blake said.
"WHAT WAS ON THAT FLASH DRIVE" his mum yelled.
"You wanted Jisung away from Straykids. I just moved that along" Blake said remaining calm.
"What have you done" his mum sounded pissed.
"Jisung was too attached. He never would have left Straykids with how he is, especially since he is in love with one of them" Blake said and Jisung felt a pang in his heart.

"I said I wanted Jisung here out of his own choice" his mum said and Jisung heard her slam her hands onto the table and knock a glass onto the floor.
"Do not overstep. You are no more than a right hand" Blake ordered.
"You have no right. You have tricked Jisung away from his happiness" the mum said.
"You said you wanted him away from Straykids and I have fulfilled your wish" Blake said.
"Yes I did and I dislike it but he is still my son. I said to him I would always protect him and I have failed but I will not steal away his happiness, not again" his mum said.
"So then what are you going to do?" Blake asked.
"He deserves to know the truth. Whatever you have done you need to fix it" his mum argued.
"And?" Blake said.
"I'm going to tell him. I've been with him all his life and I've never seen him as happy as he is with the gang. I may not like it but I'm not going to ruin his life any further" his mum said.

Jisung began to tear up. He had been lied to. He believed the evidence which wasn't true. He had yelled at the gang, his friends and left. He should have heard their side of the story. He should have listened. He held his hand on the door as soft tears fell from his eyes. He was caught up in his own emotions until he heard a loud noise.

BANG

Jisung jumped back but kept quiet. That was a gunshot, it couldn't have been anything else. He heard a thud on the floor as he steadied his breathing and heard words from behind the door.

"I have worked too hard for you to ruin my plans. You will not tell anyone anything. Not ever again" Blake's voice said.
