The Other Side | Minsung

The End or The Beginning

The days passed and it hadn't been quick neither slow and now it was the day. The day where fate gets to choose wether Seungmin is to to stay or if it is his time to go.

The house was tense and you could see that. Nobody wanted to speak about what was going to happen and breakfast was like Seungmin was already dead. It was quiet with only the sound of spoons on bowls and the chewing of food.
It was unbearable the silence.
"I'm going to the shops" Jisung blurred out breaking the silence. The small sounds stopped and everyone looked to him.
Jisung took a breath then spoke again.
"It's tormenting in here. I'm just going out to buy myself some raspberries. I'll make sure I'm back on time" Jisung looked around.
Nobody spoke. Minho opened his mouth but Chan got their first.
"Well the Traula gang have lost their leader and from radio traffic they have all scattered so the ban on the house has been lifted" Chan said giving his permission.
"I'll come with you" Minho said quickly.
"No. You need to stay here. Chan will need you for Seungmin. The two oldest must sign off the okay form for Seungmin so what the doctor does is legal" Jisung said smiling sadly at Minho who looked down slightly more in fear than sadness.

Jisung stood up and walked round the table then stood in front of Minho.
"Stand up" Jisung commanded and Minho stood up confused.
Jisung reached forward and pulled Minho into a massive hug and held him tight.
"Everything is going to be okay. Soon we will have our sarcastic Seungmin who complains about SpongeBob physics back" Jisung said laughing at his own comment and the gang ended up chuckling along.
Minho held onto Jisung and nuzzled his face into Jisung's neck keeping it there until he heard a few cries. He looked back up but it wasn't Jisung who was crying.

"Why Jisung. You said something so heartwarming"
Both boys turned to see Felix in utter disarray as he began crying. He had tears streaming down his cheeks as Hyunjin grasped onto him and held him towards him.
"I want Seungmin back" Felix was fully in tears as he cried out and his throat felt like it was closing up.

Hyunjin rubbed Felix's back and a few other members had begun to tear up now as well. Jeongin was now on the brink of tears and Chan had to comfort him by holding onto his shoulder. Changbin had nobody left so he pulled a tissue from his pocket and dabbed his eyes with it.
"Always me alone" Changbin mumbled.

After everyone had calmed down Chan told everyone what was going to happen today.
"At 12 noon we are going to take Seungmin out of the medically induced coma. The latest we can would be 12:30 so I would like all of you there for then latest" Chan ordered.
Everyone nodded along.
Jisung looked at it phone, it was now 10:45. He would need to make sure he completes his mission and gets back to Seungmin in time.

He spent some time putting away his cutlery and got changed out of his I ❤️ Quokkas pyjama shirt and white bottoms into some joggers and baggy top with a black jacket over it.
He checked the time again seeing it was now 11:00.

He went down into the basement and went looking for something. Once he had found it he stuffed it into the back of his trousers under his shirt and quickly left the house.

He checked his phone making sure he knew exactly where to go and set off making sure to keep checking the time to make sure he had enough.
He walked for a good 20 minutes until he came to his spot. He zipped up his jacket and put up his hood then walked into an alleyway. He had never been into this area before so he needed to make sure he didn't get lost.

He walked for no more than 5 minutes where he came to a small empty area in the alleyway where he saw a bunch of people sat on the floor. Most of them looked ragged and exhausted. He looked around trying to spot someone but he couldn't so he walked closer to them and as he did they noticed and looked at him.
"Who are you?" One said.
"What do you want?" Another asked.
Jisung ignored them and continued looking around until it got to the point where he would have to ask them.

"Calm down" Hyunjin said.
"How can I calm down this is killing me" Felix put his fingers to his neck and held them there.
Hyunjin held Felix's free hand as they were sat on the sofa a few metres away from Seungmin.
"Where are the others?" Jeongin asked clinging onto Chan.
"They still have 30 minutes Jeongin. We are just early" Chan said as 3 of the members were still missing.
They all waited another nerve wracking 10 minutes before Minho came into the room.
"Minho your finally here. I need you to sign these forms" Chan got Jeongin off him and over to a desk where Minho followed and looked down at them. He grabbed the pen and immediately scribbled his signature.
"Your not going to read it" Chan asked.
"I already know what it says. I don't want to read it again" Minho said showing he was slightly distressed.
"It's going to be okay" Chan kept reassuring everyone and allowed Jeongin to cling onto him again and rubbed his hair.
