Designation 0 | Oh no another Murder Drones Fanfic HERE WE GO!

0 | Fidget.

In which 0 gains a new toy.

0: "So, this is supposed to emulate the buttons back in the ship? Can't I just pull up a screen and play a game?"

Uzi: "I want to see if I can get you to not need the screens to keep yourself from rearranging my room every 10 minutes."

0: "Very well... You have a trip coming up right?"

I started to press the buttons on the small cube. This was satisfying in a way, actually.

Uzi: "I WANTED to go alone! But the teacher decided to make it a full field trip."

0: "Oh. So you're not happy that we need to go there then?"

Uzi: "It's not that, it's just - ugh, stop making me think hard!"

0: "You're the one who wanted me to give you the drone equivalent to a brain teaser, you had it coming."

This fidget thing was really satisfying. Almost relaxing in a way.

Uzi: "I guess I did, but still!"

The noises produced by the fidget were all that could be heard for a few seconds.

Uzi: "That drone you mentioned when we first properly spoke to eachother. The description you gave matches my mom."

0: "Oh. I'm sorry for your loss, but you know how the others used to be."

I pointed to the door, which was really referring to their positions back outside.

Uzi: "Why did you decide to stay in the colony, if I might ask."

0: "Keeps me busy."

Uzi: "I don't blame you for that."

I put the fidget down, and moved to Uzi's desk, reorganizing the entire thing.

Uzi: "I thought that would work."

0: "Well, if you want to get me to stay put you'll need to put me to sleep. Figure that one out. Besides, your room has too many interesting things in it."

Uzi sighed, before motioning to the bed.
Uzi: "Get in the bed, I'm not making you sleep on the floor."

I kept reorganizing the desk until Uzi physically tried to pull me away from it. Then and only then did I stop. I lied down on the bed, making sure to take up as little space as possible. I fell asleep in two minutes.

Sorry for the extremely long delay for such a short update. I had multiple things to handle in regards to life, and maybe some military shenanigans, so yeah. Hope you enjoy the small update, and I'm hoping to update this sometime soon, and maybe have another memory play out in 0's mind. Have a nice night/day/nuclear winter.
