Rena's pov
"...Let's begin..."
I already knew the story behind why we were here: to discuss how sirens constantly disobey their orders to not step on land and how they're turning the demons of Darkonia against Arlo. If they couldn't complete the job they'd end up dead for other Drakonians to assume Arlo is killing his own kind.
As much I hate Arlo for all he is this wasn't what Darkonia was built on, when Rorik the King of Gluttony ruled sirens never crossed paths on land knowing they'd be taken to hell and burn by Satan's fury but then Arlo sieged the throne leaving the sirens thinking that they were free to do what they pleased considering the Demons couldn't even control their own royal courts.Looking at Damion, he's nothing like the other two siblings or his father for that matter. Something about him didn't seem right. Why work for the king when he has the blood to be the king.
He stood there gesturing to the map on the table speaking with calmness. I didn't need to be shut up. I was at loss not knowing they had a half sibling. Looking at him I was determined to break him apart and find out the real him an where he stands.
"Rena...what do you say?" Kristlyn asked.
"What?"
"Who are you pairing with for the mission?"
"Well I assume Arlo will stay in the castle for his kingly duties. Krist is on her own because that's her way. Shae and Jake will be together because the have things to discuss and that just leaves two. Damion, I'm sure you'll be a great partner." I say smiling condescending.
"I hope I am love."
"The name's Rena maybe stick to that."
"Apologies Rena." He said smiling.
This was going to be a long long mission before I call it over.
