- Friday -

During her Friday morning, In the dorm it was particularly quiet. Too quiet.

Things continued per usual now with the pleasant company of stillness.

Abigail was applying mascara, meanwhile she was still deciding on what to wear.

Not a word was spoken about what happed the night prior.

To be honest where would you even start? Maybe the lack of closure was the better option.

Today was when Abigail, Terry, and Pretty girl go down to get breakfast together.

This was no regular breakfast, they made pancakes topped with any topping of your choice; Ice-cream, chocolate chips, fruit, you name it. It was their daily weekend ritual.

Plus it was an upgrade from the other lack luster meals severed throughout the week. The food wasn't awful, it was edible.

Just as Pretty girl was finishing changing Terry burst through the door, without announcing her entry. How rude.

Neither Pretty girl, nor Abigail knew how Terry got home.

An answer wouldn't be plausible, since she wouldn't have any recollection.

Also it wasn't like she was in their room to discuss that. On the upside her appearance was looking much more lifelike on this fine morning.

"Hey Abigail you ready? I want to get there early?"

"Does it look like I am ready?" She was finishing up her full face of foundation.

Terry didn't acknowledge Pretty girl, didn't even look over, and say hi. Not like she wanted that, would've still been nice.

Pretty girl wasn't close to ready. Her hair was in an unkept state and needed to be tamed.

Terry was practically was rushing Abigail out the door, and she begrudgingly complied.

As a quick finishing touch she sprayed three pumps of setting spray, and out they went.

She almost spoke up until she noticed Terry closed the door behind them.

It wasn't all bad, she had the luxury of fixing her hair without any more distractions. But it wasn't like they were begging for her attention.

Her hair was put into her favorite style, and slowly sighed before leaving.

The hallway overflowed with students racing to get to those scrumptious pancakes.

Many shoving to get there faster, others going with the flow. However, she spotted something odd.

Only a few feet away from her were a couple of people glancing back at her with strange expressions.

With her peculiar predicament she had no choice but to gaze at her shoes, giving her some avoidance.

The heels of boots clacked against the tile causing her to focus on the distraction.

They gaped at her in the distance, whispering amongst themselves.

Their words muffled, and distorted when she unconsciously listened. All out of her control.

Though the words were inaudible, she could at least tell they weren't pleasant.

She occupied her mind with pancakes to get by. Fluffy, light pancakes topped with any toppings you want; ice-cream, chocolate chips, fruit, you name it.

Working like a charm she was finally in the line.

Practically everyone on campus was there, and all were watching her.

Didn't matter she got what she came for.

Her toppings of choice was fruit; strawberries, and a couple of blueberries, covered in whipped cream. Kind of bland in my opinion.

There were many empty seats to choose from, nonetheless most appearing unwelcoming.

In her sights was Abigail, and Terry who both were just as standoffish.

Fortunately she saw a table, empty of anyone. It beckoned her.

Beckoned her to sit away from everything. And so she did, and in doing so ended up facing Keil.

Locking eyes.

Surrounded by all his friends he radiated confidence, he exuded influence. He whispered in the ears of his peers, and laughter erupted.

She sunk deeper into her chair too afraid to move. She penetrated a strawberry with her fork, contemplating on consuming the substance.

She eventually did, the taste wasn't like she suspected it to be.

The food tasted flavorless, and bland. Probably due to the uncivil topic of conversation that began to ensue.

It would ruin any flavor.

Within the cluster, and chaos a word shot through the crowd. It stung, and stayed like a virus, it rang in her ears. It echoed, and repeated.

Each time hurting more than the first.

Someone yelled, "SLUT."
