After the whole pancake fiasco Pretty girl didn't know what to do. In Isolation she found relief, now there was only anxiety.

Where was she to go?

Every Friday she was free from any classes, so there wasn't anything really for her to do.

She'd usually study; went to the library out of convenience. But I knew she wasn't in the mood for that. In addition, being around people, at the moment, wasn't the best for her.

There was also her dorm, however, there was a chance she would bump into Abigail.

Instead she aimlessly strolled around the college. Walked past classrooms, and eventually ended up outside. In pure convenience Keil was alone on the patio, resting under a green ash.

I don't know why, but, she saw this as a perfect opportunity to confront him.

Keil was alone, no friends by his side, no interruptions.

Personally, I believe she should've just ignored him since he was being a dick. Also challenging him isn't wise.

Saying she confidently approached him would be a lie. She was fearful. Paralyzed, yet managed to move.

Across the field she arrived at her destination, amazingly Keil still hadn't detected her.

Sheepishly she mustered up the courage for what was about to go down.

"Hey Keil can we talk?"

He peered up at her, stunned, and unamused.

"What's up?" He nonchalantly asked.

Keil was unpredictable at times. When he was... unhinged, getting a good read on him was close to impossible.

She took a big breath before saying, "why did you do it?"

Keil rolled his eyes knowing that she was about to confront him.

"Do what? Cheat?" He sat up, straightening his posture ready for a planned response.

Waiting to clear the air about, in his own words, a complete misunderstanding.

"No spread those rumors about me," she clarified.

His eyes dimed with disappointment, irritated at her for drawing more attention over a stupid rumor.

He brushed his hair, slicking it back further. He couldn't help but grin.

He was maddened at the fact she didn't acknowledge him making out with Abigail, her only 'best' friend', last night.

"I never started that rumor, I just heard it from Daniel. All I did was tell a couple of people."

She reminisced, trying her best to wrap her head around his... excuse.

The passiveness that lied in his response left her numb.

"Do you believe him?"

That is true. It would've been reasonable for him to talk about it with her before.

"Honestly... at first I didn't, but then I had my doubts."

His demeanor was serious. He was hurt, and had the audacity to justify his actions.

Like a spoiled, spineless brat screaming about how he did nothing wrong. In Keil's mind this wasn't revenge, but a way to inflict balance in their 'relationship'.

Its almost laughable how Keil never thought to hear her side, understand her point of view. He instantly believed every word he heard. Believed she was a 'slut'. Well a relationship built on fantasies will crumble with no reality.

"Why did you believe him?" She asked baffled.

He hoisted up to face her, and articulated, "Like I said, I wasn't convinced when Daniel came to me about that stuff. I did have a feeling, but then Abigale showed me a photo so then I knew the gut feeling I was having was right."

Pretty girl couldn't help the pang in her chest. The sinking feeling between her feet. The painful beating of her heart. She couldn't look at him. Didn't know what to say.

What could she say?

She had no validity to her claim. And it wasn't like he would listen to her anyway.

He sighed, and left her with, "Welp see you around."

Pretty girl was still under the green ash when she thought to herself 'where the fuck is Daniel'.

Not her exact words, though in my own opinion better suited dialogue.

She stormed back into the campus flustered to find him. And she looked everywhere.

The Oakwood College layout was far from large, still it wasn't small. Roughly around thirty minutes past when she saw that asshole in the library.

Daniel was at a bookshelf running his finger across the spines of book covers.

Without a second thought, and out of breath, she clung onto his shoulder to twirl him around.

"Why did you do it?" She questioned franticly.

Desperation seeping through.

"Do what?" He shooed her hand away, and proceeded to go back to his book findings.

"You know what I'm talking about. The rumor you told Keil."

He laughed while responding, "It's not really a rumor is it?"

She bite down on her lip, and pinched her arm to prevent herself from crying.

She wasn't going to give Daniel that satisfaction.

He persisted, "Shouldn't he know though, you guys are dating, and I don't think he'd appreciate you cheating."

Her eyes glazed over, reddening, either from his words, or the continuous pinching.

"Daniel I just want to understand why?" She was anxious. Trying her best to grasp any meaning in this situation.

"I mean what is there to understand?"

He eventually found the book he needed, and journeyed off. Leaving her with no conclusion.

He waved the book proudly over his head wishing her a Farwell, meanwhile her chin quivered.

Her throat ached.

"Oh before I go, I forgot to tell you." He whipped around for on final statement.

"You know everyone talks shit about you."
