Indiana Luna walked into the house, her arms full of groceries. She slipped her shoes off, then walked into the kitchen and set all the bags down on the island counter.
She took a seat at reached into one of the bags, pulling out a big bag of chips. Right as she started eating them, her dad Gabriel Luna walked in with a big grin and said goodbye to whoever he was on the phone with.
Indiana looked at him, confused as to why her dad was so smiley, she asked him, "Who was that?"
He looked at her and grinned, "Cara."
"Your agent?"
He nodded, "yes, she told me that I got a role in a new TV show."
"Really?" Indiana stood up with a big smile on her face and walked around the island then hugged him. "That's awesome dad, what show is it?"
"Funny you asked, it's based on a video game you like. The Last-"
"The Last Of Us?!" Indiana cut him off. She loves video games, and The Last of Us is her favorite one. "You're kidding!" She started jumping up and down with excitement.
Gabriel laughed and shook his head, "I knew you were going to do this."
"Well, dad! What did you expect? I didn't even know you auditioned! Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because I knew you would act like this." He couldn't keep in his laughter when his adult daughter was jumping up and down like a child that just got a new toy.
After she calmed down a little bit, she asked him, "Who are you gonna play?"
"Tommy Miller." He told her with a grin.
Her eyes went wide with excitement, "Oh my god!" She held back from jumping up and down and instead hugged her dad again.
"This is so cool! I knew they were going to make it a TV show, but I didn't think you would be in it! Do you know who else is gonna be in the show? Who is gonna play Joel? Ellie? Do you think they will have Ashley Johnson play her in the show since she played her in the game?" Indiana was filled with questions about the show, and she couldn't stop herself from asking every single one right away.
Gabriel put his hands on her shoulders to try and get her to calm down a little bit, "Indiana, take a breath." he laughed.
"Come on dad! I am excited!" She told him with a smile.
"Okay, okay. Ashley Johnson isn't playing Ellie. Bella Ramsey from Game of Thrones is." Indiana's eyes lit up when he told her, but she kept her word. "And Joel is being played by Pedro Pascal. From The Mandalorian." He told her.
As soon as she heard Pedro Pascal, her jaw dropped. "Are you serious?!"
"As a heart attack."
