Pedro was laying in his bed. The same place he had been for the past three days. He hasn't talked to anyone since he called Neil and Craig to ask for a few days off.
He missed Indiana. All he wanted to do was text her, but he didn't, instead, he sat in his bed staring at the ceiling for three days straight.
When there was knocking on his door, Pedro ignored it, excepting it to stop after a minute or so. But it didn't.
He continued to ignore it until the knocking turned to banging, so Pedro got up and opened the door to see Bella.
They were standing there with a bag of Five Guys in one hand and a coffee in the other. When Pedro saw that it was them, he walked away, leaving the door open so Bella would come in.
They walked into the house and walked into the living room, setting the bag and drink down on the coffee table, then sitting next to Pedro.
"Are you sick?" They asked him.
Pedro didn't say anything, he just shook his head.
"Did someone die?"
He shook his head again.
"Is it a girl?"
Pedro hesitated, confirming that Bella was right.
They sat up in their seat and turned to face Pedro. "Who is she?" They asked.
Pedro didn't say anything. Instead, he reached for the bag of food in front of him, but Bella snatched it out of his hands.
"I'll let you eat it when you tell me who she is." They told him.
Pedro looked at Bella with an annoyed face.
"If I tell you then you have to swear you won't tell anyone." He said to them.
Bella nodded, "promise."
Pedro stared at Bella, not saying anything. They raised their eyebrows at him, waiting for him to tell them who it was that he was so sad about.
"It's Indiana." He said to them.
Bella's eyebrows furrowed for a second, then her eyes went wide. "Indiana Luna? Gabriel's daughter?" They asked, Pedro nodded.
Bella was so surprised, "really?" They couldn't believe it.
"Yes," Pedro said, looking down at the five guys bag.
"Why are you so sad about her? Were you guys like... a thing?" Bella asked, handing Pedro the bag of food.
"Yes... well, no... I don't know. We never established what we were. We kissed a few times, and we texted each other a lot-" Pedro said until he was cut off,
"Oh my god! Is that why you were always smiling down at your phone? Are your texts with her the ones that you would hide from me?" They asked him, leaning forward because they are so into the conversation and dying for more information.
Pedro thought for a second then nodded, before he could say anything, Bella spoke again, "Why are you so sad about her? Did she end things with you?" They asked.
Pedro shook his head, "no, I ended things with her."
Bella sat up, a look of confusion filling their face. "You ended it with her?"
"Yes, and I shouldn't have. I thought it was the right thing to do. But now I hate myself for it." Pedro put his head in his hands.
"So tell her how you feel," Bella said.
———Indiana was laying in her bed with tears running down the side of her face.
Like Pedro, she hasn't moved from her bed since he ended things. It was like her body wouldn't let her move.
Isaak was laying down next to Indiana, comforting her the best he could, but it was like nothing was working.
"We can go get ice cream? You love ice cream." He said to her.
"I don't want ice cream." She said back to him.
"Come on Ana, Pedro is just a guy. Someone else will come around and you guys will fall in love and live happily ever after, like in the movies."
Indiana flipped over to face Isaak, revealing her red eyes from crying so much. "I don't want someone else to come around Isaak. I want Pedro." She told him.
He gave her a sympathetic look and held out his arms, "Come here." He told her.
Indiana moved into his arms, nuzzling into his chest.
"He will come back." He told her.
