Indiana stood at Pedro's doorstep, she didn't know what she was doing. And she debated just walking away, but she had already knocked on the door and it would be rude to just walk away instead of hearing what he had to say.
Indiana looked around outside to make sure nobody saw her at Pedro's house. She turned back to the door when she heard it open.
There stood Pedro, he looked a little rough. His hair was super messy, and the bags under her eyes were very big and noticeable.
He sighed, stepping out of the way so Indiana could walk in. She did, and Pedro spoke, "Can I get you anything? Water? Food?"
"No, um, I'm okay." She told him.
Pedro nodded as he walked to the couch. Indiana did the same and sat next to him. She looked at him, waiting for him to say something.
"You know, I planned out what I was gonna say before you got here. But I forgot everything."Indiana just looked at him, she didn't know what to say. "Ana, I'm sorry. I am so, so sorry. I shouldn't have ended this. I like you. I really, really like you. And we shouldn't have to end things because of our age difference or because of other people." Pedro told her. He looked at her, wanting her to say something, but she didn't.
Indiana's eyes started to water, she sniffled and started to say something, but her emotions took over and she burst out in tears.
Pedro instantly pulled her into his arms, hugging her as tight as he could. "Please don't cry, I didn't want you to cry." He told her.
Indiana sat in his arms for a minute, before pulling away and looking at him. "Why did you do it?" She asked him.
Pedro didn't know what to say, he looked at her red eyes as he put his hand on her cheek, wiping away a tear with his thumb. "I don't know why I did it. I know that's a bad answer. But I don't know why I did it. All I know is that it was a mistake. And I am miserable without you." He told her.
Indiana stared into his eyes, then she looked down at his lips. She leaned in and kissed him, it was a small kiss, and when she pulled away, she spoke again, "Please don't ever do that again."
Pedro looked down at her and pulled her into another hug. "I won't. I promise you, I won't do that ever again." He told her as he hugged her, not wanting to let go.
