THIRD PERSON'S POV
A YEAR AFTER
"Baby!!! Come down already!"
Jake hurriedly ran down the stairs and smiled at the view of their living room.
"Sorry! I wanted to wrap it properly."
Sunghoon chuckled as he went to Jake.
"Then is that ready?"
Jake gave the box to him and nodded.
"Alright then. Heeseung hyung, here."
Heeseung smiled. Sunoo went beside Jake, curious eyes stared at him.
"What's your gift for Jay hyung, hyung?"
Jake winked to Sunoo.
"He said he wanted more shirts so I gave him a lot."
Jungwon widened his eyes.
"Shirts? THAT big box are just shirts?"
Jake laughed and nodded.
"Of course not just shirts. You know how much he is into fashion so I have him varieties."
Ni-Ki stares at Heeseung as their oldest fixed their box.
"I bet he'll be happy..."
Heeseung wraps the last round of tape before he tapped the box twice.
"It's Jay we are talking about here. He is appreciative so he will really love our gifts..."
"Everyone had dropped everything they wanted to give?"
"Yes hyung."
"Alright then. Let's send this so that he can receive it by his birthday."
The couple waved their friends goodbye. After a few days, their package will be shipped soon so they will just wait for it to be picked up. Jake couldn't help but to let out another smile.
Jay is still on the process of moving on. Now that they let their families understood that their relationship will not work not when Jake is clearly in love with someone else despite him losing his memory, they decided to let Jake go and have the man decide for himself.
Jay is taking his time on slowly building up his broken pieces. He came back to Australia to finally start his own business and the others are supportive of him. There is still a lingering awkwardness but as the time slowly pass by, they all believe it will disappear.
"Thanks."
Feeling an arm on his waist, Jake smiles.
"Why? Did I do something?"
Jake turned to Sunghoon.
"Thank you for being here with me..."
Sunghoon pulled him closer as he caresses his cheek.
"Anything for you baby.."
Jake gave him a quick peck, his smile widening.
"I love you."
"Yes I know and I love you too."
"Even from two years ago...."
Jake looks at Sunghoon.
"I know... I can always see it in your eyes... It never changed. Since day one."
Sunghoon chuckles.
"Why? Because you caught me crying?"
Jake tilted his head.
"No. Because you're busy tying your shoelace and stopped when you met my eyes."
