I was all over her ~ a scandal cast fanfic

"Did you miss me?"

Morning came quicker than usual for Tony after falling asleep on his bed, only just realising that he hadn't even bothered to to get changed into his pyjamas before collapsing onto it and almost immediately falling into what felt like the deepest sleep of his life.

He had to be ready for 9:00am as the cast were planning to go sightseeing around the area and potentially go for lunch somewhere nice, though that wasn't Tony's first thought about what he was going to be doing when he woke up because the night before he made a promise to himself that he was going to be honest with Kerry and he intended to stick to it.
After putting on a fresh navy suit, guiding a brush though his hair, brushing his teeth and finally pulling his shoes on and double knotting his laces he headed straight towards Kerry's room.

With a short breath in aas a way to calm his growing nerves and an ounce or regret that was starting to form and bubble in his stomach he brought his fist to the door and knocked it three times.

After a moment of silence Tony thought that this was his opportunity to run for it and not bother as no one would be there to see him but after a minute of shuffling and an "I'll be there in a minute" from behind the door he knew he had sealed his fate.

In one quick motion, the door handle turned and Kerry emerged from behind it, her expression quickly morphing from a calm and slightly neutral gaze to a confused and questioning one.

"Look if your here to start yelling at me.."

"I'm not here to yell at you." Tony abruptly cut her off, prohibiting her from finishing her sentence.

"Look, I'm really sorry and I really need to talk to you so it would be great if you would let me in" he spoke, waiting on a reply.

Kerry on the other hand was completely taken aback, the guy who had been a total asshole to her since he got there was all of a sudden apologising to her and asking to come in.
Not really knowing what to do in that moment Kerry managed to say "yeah sure" before wandering back into her room and closing the door with Tony now inside.

"Look I just want to get this out there that I have been an ass to you for the past few hours and in truth I have actually really missed you Kerry, I've missed the way you smile like a hopeless teenager at anything that you find remotely funny, I've missed the way you used to drag me into your mini yoga sessions on set, I've missed the deep and heartfelt chats that we'd have between scenes and our silly little arguments over the love scenes we would have to do, truthfully, I really have missed you. I need you to know that. Did you miss me?" Tony stated.

In all Honesty he had no idea how this was going to go, what she was going to say or how she was going to react but it was just one of those things where you just need to tell that person something, you don't expect anything from them but to listen and take it. This was one of those moments.

Kerry just sat there. Not knowing what to say. Of course she had missed him too but she didn't think that they were both going to vocalise it. She thought that it would just be one of those things where they just sit in silent acknowledgment for one minute and then come back to the real world where he has a wife, she has a husband and they both try to get over each other for everyone else's sake.
But it wasn't, and kerry didn't know what to do, so she did the only thing she could think of doing....
"Get out" she mustered.
