Evelyn was just like any other kid when she had to move away. She was afraid of changes especially, after her mother had recently passed away. She wasn't able to have any friends after that until she met Jake. And, since Jake was always there for her, it was natural for her to end up seeing him as more than a friend. However, Jake isn't interested in Evelyn. As the years passed, they remained as friends...nothing more. Later, they became even more distant due to Jake's girlfriend.
