[Yn's POV]

My happiness knew no bounds, I was finally meeting my family after so many days, god knows how much I missed them. How they have been? How much they have missed me? Were they okay? All of these questions were lingering on my mind. But my thoughts interrupted as the memories of this morning flashed in front of my eyes.

How did I end up here? How is Jungkook? Is he okay? Is he...

No!

Just the thought of something happening to him sent shivers down my spine. As much as happy I was from escaping that cage, I can't deny the fact that I still care for him and love him. Even if we won't be together, my love won't die. Pulling away from Baekhyun, I gazed at him with a confused expression.

"How did you find me Baekhyun?" His expressions changed a bit, not in a negative way but rather in a concerned one. He might have anticipated me asking him this. His hand made its way up to my cheek, making me a bit surprised but I didn't flinch or back away, I waited for his response. His fingers were now caressing my skin making me feel tingles all over my body, I don't know why but his presence seems very familiar, way too familiar.

Baekhyun: "How about we go downstairs and eat something? What I am about to say to you is something very serious, and I don't want you to freak out because of that" I gulped as I nodded in response while staring into his eyes. He smiled before softly grabbing my wrist and we walked outside the room. My mind was whirling around with lot of emotions- confusion, happiness, fear and sadness. I can't help but to think about Jungkook, I hope he is okay.

Baekhyun: "Here, have some. You need to take medicines too, your injuries are still new. Thank goodness nothing happened to you" he spoke while giving me a warm smile that somehow reduced the anxiety that was lingering inside my heart. The chaos that I have been in from the past few days has messed up my mind, I don't actually know what to do now since I have broken the engagement with Jungkook. That wound is still fresh in my heart, but I can trust time and let it heal. Being broken is better than being hurt again and again, and I can't go through that pain from the past.

"Thank you. What you wanted to tell me?" I asked in a low voice as I prepared myself for that shocking revelation. The way Baekhyun said those words before, made me anxious, but it won't be as bad as knowing the truth about Jungkook.

Baekhyun: "I was the one who caused the accident" I froze at my spot as those words passed through my ears.

What?

Baekhyun: "Yn, I don't want to hide anything from you. But please, trust me and don't hate me. I won't be able to bear that" he said with pleading eyes that now made me anxious again.

"What is it Baekhyun? Please, you are scaring me now" my voice was filled with anxiety as I gulped hard. Why would he cause the accident? What he is hiding from me that can actually make me hate him? Baekhyun stared into my eyes and pursed his lips into a thin line before heaving a sigh.
