[Yn's POV]

"W-What?" I asked in a mere whisper at the mentioning of my sister. He knows about her even though I tried very hard to keep it a secret, he found out. I could have told him about her before, but the pain of knowing that she was murdered and we couldn't even see her was something that I couldn't have shared. So I did what my heart told me to do. I buried her memories, her existence in the deepest part of my heart and locked it.

Jungkook took a step forward while I unconsciously backed away. He looked at me with empathetic eyes, something that was making me feel sick.

"Baby. I know how much it hurts when you lose someone. I know that pain, that's why I am here for you. Please don't push me away, we can fight this together" more tears came out of my eyes as I shook my head and stood there.

"I- I don't want to talk about it. Please go Jungkook. I- I have to leave" I was about to turn around and walk to other direction when he softly grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer to him. I looked into his dark brown eyes which were staring at me with concern and pain.

"I understand" I was surprised when he spoke softly. "I won't push it. I will let you be, but do know that I am not giving up on you baby. I will see you tomorrow at work, have a good rest and take care" he said before placing a soft kiss on my forehead and walked away, leaving me behind in the chaos of emotions.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a car pulling up in front of me. I blinked few times before staring at Baekhyun who came out and passed me a warm smile.

"How was your day?" He asked but soon frowned upon looking at my face. "Did you cry Yn? Hey, is everything okay?" Concern laced his voice as he tried to touch my face but I quickly backed away making him stop as well. I instantly thought of Jungkook and got scared that if he sees us then there will be a havoc.

"I am fine Baekhyun. Something went in my eye which is why my face is all red. Can we go home please? I am very tired and have to start early tomorrow" I spoke in a low voice and averted my face from his eyes which were staring at me with concern.

"As you say. Umm, your mom asked me to take you to the restaurant instead. For today's dinner. It's Jake's birthday..." I closed my eyes as a big sigh left my lips.

"I forgot to buy something for him" Baekhyun held my hand and gave me a warm smile that made me feel guilty. I have been acting hostile towards him but he has been very nice to me.

"I have got it all sorted, you just come along" I nodded hesitantly and followed him towards the car. But my mind kept on wandering about Jungkook and the revelation he made today. I was too tired to think of the ways to escape him at the moment, good sleep and a peace of mind is all I need. I sat down in the car and instantly placed my head on the window and closed my eyes. I was feeling very exhausted.

"We will be done for the night soon princess, you look way too tired" Baekhyun's voice reached my ears and I just hummed in response, letting myself relax in that moment.

"I am" that's all I said as I heard the car drove off.

The ride was silent and I had a good nap, didn't even realise when we reached at the restaurant. "It looks very fancy" I said as I observed the place .

Baekhyun smiled as he gave the car keys to the driver to park the car and followed me. "The dinner's on me tonight, small gift for Jake. He once mentioned this place and I got it booked" I looked at him surprised.

"You didn't have to Baekhyun, this is way too expensive-"

"I wanted to Yn. Now don't ruin your mood and enjoy the night, everyone is waiting" he smiled at me and I just sighed in defeat. I don't understand why my parents agreed to this. It's too much, even when I was with Jungkook, we never went to fancy places because I love simple things. My mind went again went back to the memories of today and I instantly felt shivers all over my body as the same feeling irked my skin.
