"I don't know, Y/n.. I allowed Hu tao to cover for me but this seems..." Xiao trailed off, finding the appropriate word. "Doubtful."

"Listen, Xiao, you HAVE to trust me!" You told him, empathizing on the word 'HAVE'.

He was your last hope and your boarder that was stopping you from going completely insane.

"Isn't this a crime?" Xiao asked.

You stared at him, looking back at what you were about to do. You were about to break in through the remains of the old burnt house of the Kaedehara's.

Recall: After not being able to handle all of what you're experiencing on your own, you finally told a friend, Xiao. After having a genuine heart to heart talk with him, the only way to gain his full trust is to show him how everything happens.

Back to present: "Yes.. but..."

"Are you sure this is worth all this?" Xiao asked.

"Xiao, I have been seeing a dead person these past few days, hell– I even teleport!" You went over it once again with him in which he sighed at.

"Alright, but I hope breaking in abandoned houses will not become a habit of yours." Xiao replied.

The house was boarded off with signs and fences, it was definitely trespassing.

"Thanks, Xiao!" You thanked him. "Now, hand me that plier!" You ordered him.

You cut the thin barricades and formed a hole enough for you and Xiao to enter through.

You slowly entered the area after the hole could fit the both of you and gave Xiao back his plier.

Why break into this old house though?
You didn't entirely know how it happens, but you had to gain Xiao's trust, and you needed his help. One thing that you thought of was when you discover sensitive things.

You completely doubt that theory but it was the only thing you could hold onto for now.

You saw Kazuha crying near the abandoned maze, it happened.

You saw 'Venti' in a picture of the Kaedehara's book about the disaster and confronted him about it, it happened.

And how did all of this happen? You saw Tomo, in the same uniform he died in.

"How do we summon him?" Xiao asked.

"I don't think the word summon is appropriate... it sounds like we're about to do a ritual." You shook your head at Xiao.

"Are we not?" He asked.

"...We should read the book." You told him, pulling out the Kaedehara family book thing.

He raised an eyebrow before nodding.

You flipped the pages open, landing on the one about the explosion of the store where Tomo worked at. A low gasp coming out of you when you spotted something, dropping the book.
