Recall: after breaking in the Kaedehara's burnt house, you discovered Xiao's little secret and you landed in the spirit realm.
Back to present: you looked at Miss Beidou, confused. Not knowing if what she was saying was real. "Then why are you here?"
"I'm a spirit, Y/n." She told you casually.
Your jaw dropped, the feeling of shock completely taking over you. "No way.."
"This doesn't matter right now, master Beidou, I need your help to send Y/n back." Tomo spoke up, earning both of your attention.
"What? You know I can only send spirits back and only for a limited amount of time." Miss Beidou told him. "Do you have an item from your own world?" Beidou asked.
"I have myself." You reply.
Miss Beidou sighed, shaking her head, "that can't be enough. Tell me, how do you and spirit Tomo know each other?"
"Well.. I met him the other day. I was transported to the day he died." You told her. "He gets hurt and I try to save him but whenever I try to I get sent back." You told her, she hums.
"One of my theories of how I come and meet him is by discovering something related to Tomo. I just randomly see him and I follow him then I proceed to get pushed or something and then I arrive at the past." You explained.
Miss Beidou looked anxious, "that can't be good. It's like someone wants you here or in the past for something. That someone or something is your number one connection to Tomo." She told you.
"Number one connection? Could it be Kazuha?" You asked, tilting your head.
You saw Tomo from the corner of your eye tense up at the mention of his brother.
"It could be, but this connection is most likely to be a spirit." Miss Beidou replied. "And every spirit has an objective, this one might be sending you to fulfill their own objective."
"Why would they choose Y/n out of all people to send and what does all of that have to do with me?" Tomo asked, curious.
"I'm not entirely sure, but it could be that this objective has something to do with you or Y/n, plus adding to the fact the culprit is a connection." Miss Beidou answered him.
"How are you so sure that the mastermind is something connected to the both of us?" Tomo asked as you nodded at his question, looking at Miss Beidou for confirmation.
"These things can only access the people closest to them when they were alive." She told him.
"But I don't know any dead person.." you mumbled.
"Hey, I'm right here, y'know?" Tomo sighed after hearing you say that.
Then you suddenly felt an aching sensation coming from your head. You knelt down, feeling something changing inside you.
