Chapter 21

Raiden pov (5 days later)
I was in training ground 12 sparing with Enji. After Lee's match and Choji's match the winners of the matches where told to draw slips. And I had the luck of the draw, I drew Hana of the cloud. And whoever wins that match will have to fight whoever wins out of Sasuke vs. Gaara of the Sand.

Either way it will be fun for me, "Raiden!" I turn my head hearing Sakura's shout onto to get hit hard in my side by Enji. I slide back on my feet grunting, "Really!?" I shout at him, "Don't get distracted." I scoff at him and approach Sakura, "Oh no are you okay I didn't mean to distract you!" She says in a worried tone, "Don't worry about it Enji's an ass."

"I am not!" He should back settling on my shoulders, "What up?" I question and even though I'm blind I can sense she's nervous, "Oh um I know your busy training for the next part of the Chunin exams in a month and I'm already out...but I was hoping you could train me." I rub the back of my head, "I would love to but I have things I need to focus on during my training...."

I trail off, "Oh...I understand sorry for bothering you..."

Before she can walk away I lean forward successfully grabbing her arm, "I can't train you but I know who can."  I pull Sakura with me going to where I know Guy-sensei was and if not at the hospital then he's with Kakashi-sensei.

After looking around a bit I hear Guy-sensei's loud voice, "Kakashi i challenge you to a game of rock, paper, scissors! Lose runs 500 laps around the village on there hands!"

"Hum did you say something?"

"Guy-sensei!" I call out and quickly dodge his attempt of hugging me, "Ah my youthful student I thought you where training alone with Enji!"

"Sakura?" I grin, "I was sensei but even though she's out of the Chunin exams. Sakura is wanting to train to get youthfully stronger!"

"Is this true young lady!" Guy-sensei questions, "Y-Yes sir I wish to be trained to grow stronger." Sakura stutters a bit but finishes off strong, "S-Sakura why didn't you just ask me?" I turn in Kakashi-sensei direction, "If she had asked you, you would probably tell her you'd be busy training Sasuke right? Besides even though it was only for one mission I noticed a thing or two you tend to focus on Sasuke and Naruto more."

I say bluntly, "Don't worry Kakashi, I will train your student with the power of youth to be a tough as nails kunoichi!" I could hear the slight smugness in Guy-sensei's voice as he rubs it in Kakashi-sensei's face. I let go of Sakura's hand and turn to her, "I know he's loud...and a bit weird!"

I hear something hit the ground, "How could you Raiden my own student hurt me so!" Guy-sensei exclaims dramatically but I ignore him, "But he's a good man and a strong shinobi. With your level of chakra control im sure Guy-sensei can help you improve on your Taijutsu."

I'm a bit startled when she suddenly hugs me, "Thank you." I smile and hug her back, "No problem he's going to push you way past your limits but I know you can do it."

Suddenly there's the screech of a hawk, "Seems your being summoned Raiden." Kakashi-sensei says in a slightly hurt tone, "Don't worry Kakashi-sensei your still awesome in my eyes even if you kind of suck as a sensei." I tease a but he chuckles a bit, "Get going." I mock salute him and rush off towards Hokage tower.

Deciding to be an ass I go threw the window, "Must you go threw the window." I close it and make my way over so I'm standing in front of the desk, "Well it annoys you so obviously I'm going to do it." I say smirking, "The way you let Enji act in the third round was not acceptable. And you Enji I should summon Enma and inform him that you still do not have your anger in control."

I start to get annoyed, "Its the Chunin Exams people die and get injured in worse ways. If you called us here to scold me we're leaving." I turn to the door, "Wait."

I stop mid-step when I feel the anbu leave the room and the seal activating around the room.

"It's been awhile Raiden." I freeze at the voice, "No way....." Enji wheezes, "Oh shit it's the weasel....."

I turn in the direction the voice came from Enji leaving my shoulder. My hands tremble a bit, "Is that really you I-Itachi-sensei..." Footsteps come closer to me and soon I find my head pressed against his lower chest.

"Its been awhile hasn't it." His voice was as calm and soft as I remembered, so I do the most reasonable thing I punch him in the gut.

He grunts a bit hunching over slightly, "You baka! Why didn't...Why didn't you tell me!" I yell angry and hurt, "You have your own burdens and I was forbidden to tell anyone." I take a few breaths calming myself down, "Whatever why are you here? How are you here?" I mutter huffing a bit, "Madara has sent me here to retrieve you he knows about you passing the exams and having a month to train for the next part of it. He wants to train you himself."

I tense up clenching my fist, "I understand....what are you going to tell Kaachan and Konohamaru?"

I say a bit sad my time with them is getting cut even more great...

"I'll tell them that I sent you out with a highly skilled anbu member to train in seclusion. Enji, Itachi I trust you will protect Raiden with everything you have."

"Obviously."

"Of course Lord hokage." Itachi-sensei places a hand on my shoulder, "And Raiden please know I do care and love you..." Let out a short breath, "If that where true you wouldn't order me to do this." I muttered right before Itachi-sensei teleports us a few miles outside the village. We walk side by side as he leads me to wherever Madara was waiting, "I did miss you...sensei."

He chuckle quietly, "I missed you too Raiden more than you know.....I had hoped we would cross paths a different way." I let out a small sigh slightly falling behind him listening to his quiet footsteps, "You wanted to meet as enemies am I right?"

"As sharp as ever I see." Enji snorts, "Only sometimes." I pull on his tail and he hisses in pain lightly hitting me on top of the head, "Like you told me long ago a shinobi's life is unpredictable." Itachi-sensei simply let's out a small hum in response as we walk the rest of the way in silence.

(Small time skip)

I follow Itachi-sensei to what seems like a cold place by the echo of our footsteps it sounds like maybe a cave, "Are we in a cave?" I asked but a deeper voice answers, "Impressive Raiden." I tense up, "Madara."

I address as his footsteps get closer, "Well done Itachi was there any problem getting her out the village."

"No Raiden was training alone with her summoning." My eye twitches a bit, "Good you may leave now I believe you and Kisame have a mission to attend to." I could sense the hesitation coming from Itachi-sensei even though it was well hidden.

I tap the ground twice something we came up with to tell each other we where okay when we couldn't speak directly. And with that he leaves without another word, "Now that he's gone let unsummon  your monkey."

"Like hell!" Enji hisses, "Enji it will be fine you should train with your father anyway." He grunts in response, "Fine...you better summon me soon." He then unsummons himself, "So why do you want to train me I haven't agreed to join the Akatsuki yet." I asked keeping my tone even, "Because I know your smart enough to know its a bad idea to reject my offer. Besides I will offer you the Akatsuki will not harm any of great importance to you."

I clench my fist, "How do I know your just saying that to get me to join." He chuckles a bit, "What a find shinobi you are, not trusting ones word so easily. But I assure you, you are if great value to me I would not risk you refusing to join me and I'd just have to resort to killing you and Inazuma. That would be a waste."

"This bastard I'll kill him!" Inazuma growls loudly, "Fine you have a deal."

"Good let this month of training begin.."
